-Flashback-

"Come on Roseanne, just take one sip??" BamBam pleaded, and I sighed, shaking my head.

"For the millionth time, no BamBam. And I told you to stop calling me Roseanne."

"But whyyy? It's your name isn't ittt?" From the way his words were slightly slurring, I knew he was already tipsy.

We were walking down the sidewalk that was only a block or two away from his apartment. BamBam and I were friends: we met through Lisa, one of my best friends.

I looked down to the ground as I walked, not daring to look up, and not just because I would burst out laughing seeing him walk drunkenly, but because of the way I felt his eyes burn into my soul.

"Hey, Roseanne?" He spoke, and I looked up, seeing him looking at me with a small smirk on his face.

"You're really pretty, you know that?"

I nodded my head, quietly thanking him.

I got compliments about my appearance 24/7, so it didn't really faze me.

After a while of walking I stopped, since I didn't hear the scuffling of his feet next to mine. I turned back, seeing him gone.

"BamBam...?" I walked back the opposite way, wondering where he could've gone in such little time.

"BamBam?" I yelled louder this time, starting to panic.

I stopped, looking around, not even realizing that I was standing right in front of a dark alley.

All it took was a loud "BOO!" from the alley to make me scream like I was being murdered, falling to the ground in my startled state.

I heard the drunk and loud laugh of my friend from the ground and immediately stood, pushing him with all of the strength in my thin arms.

"BamBam, what the hell?!"

He stumbled backwards a little, but not so much that he would actually fall and hurt himself.

"Oh come on Roseanne~ Live a littleee~" He slurred, coming up to me and grabbing my hips, a gesture that immediately set off alarms in my head.

I grabbed his arms, trying to pry them off of me, but he wouldn't budge.

"Bam, what are you doing? Let go..."

I continued to try to escape, but it was no use: he was 1000 times stronger than me, so there was no way I would break free from his grasp.

Just as I was about to hit him in the balls and escape, he let go, an apologetic look swept across his face.

"Don't worry....I'm not gonna hurt ya..." He sounded so drunk, it made me want to vomit.

"BamBam what-"

"HEY!"

Both of our heads spun in the direction of the voice, and my eyes widened in shock as I saw my ex running towards us, a look of pure anger on his face.

"J-Jimin?? What are you doing-"

"Chaeyoung, back away, now."

BamBam, who had a mix of amusement and confusion played out on his face, stepped up, still quite intoxicated.

"Hey bro, back off ok? Who are you anywayyy, hmm?"

Not even answering his question, Jimin immediately pushed him, making his back hit the brick wall of a random building behind us.

BamBam fell to the floor, grunting and holding his back, pain evident on his face.

I gasped, watching the scene in front of me as Jimin started punching BamBam recklessly, as if he was trying to hurt him really bad.

"Jimin, stop! Stop it!"

I ran up to them, trying to take Jimin off from BamBam, but I was pushed back, stumbling and falling to the floor.

The first raindrop I felt fell on my forehead, and soon, hundreds of them showered us, soaking my clothes in matter of seconds.

BamBam's grunts filled the air around us, and I got up again, about to grab Jimin when I saw him dig into his pocket and pull out an object.

It shined in the dark, the moonlight reflecting off of it.

A knife.

Something in my mind clicked in that exact moment. He had a knife. He was about to kill BamBam, right in front of me.

As the shiny object dug into the area just below the ribs of BamBam, then pulled out, then dug in again, all I could do was stand there and watch, horrified by the act of murder I was witnessing.

It wasn't until BamBam fell to the floor that I ran to him, putting my shaking hands over the place where he was stabbed, trying to stop the bleeding.

"BamBam!! Oh my god....BamBam please.....just breathe o-ok? Breathe...."

I tried to reason with him, but he didn't seem to listen to me, just weakly spoke to me as his breath hitched repeatedly.

"R-Roseanne....promise me you'll take c-care of Lisa....tell her that I love her....I love you too....n-now go...get away from that bastard..."

He barely finished his sentence before he closed his eyes, taking his final breath.

"No.....n-no no! No!" I yelled, clinging onto him.

I felt a hand grab my jacket, lifting me up from the ground quickly.

Jimin started walking away, dragging me along with him.

I screamed, trying to pry his hands off of my arm.

Feeling the desperate need to escape, I took my other hand, forming it into a fist and swinging, feeling it come in contact with his stomach.

Everything from then on was a daze. All I could remember was running like my life depended on it, away from Jimin, who was crouching and coughing on the ground in pain, and BamBam, who laid lifeless on the concrete, his blood surrounding him in a crimson pool.

I sighed, shaking the memory out of my head and throwing my wet clothes in the washer, which I didn't even bother washing the night before.

I was still shaken up about the whole thing, considering my ex came out of nowhere just to kill one of my friends.

I was confused: why did he just kill him? And was he following us?

There was a new side to Jimin that honestly frightened me. It was more possessive, more deadly and reckless.

He was like the typical jealous ex boyfriend at first, but once he pulled out that knife, I knew something wasn't up.

And that look in his eyes was different. He looked evil, like killing BamBam was what he was yearning for. What he wanted to do.

I thought of BamBam and what he said before he died, feeling my eyes well up.

Why didn't I call the police, or hit Jimin harder, or just do something to save him?!

Walking back into my room from the laundry room, I popped down on my bed, covering my face with my now shaking hands, letting my tears spill out once they filled to the brim.
