Jennie's eyes watered tremendously as she sped off away from Taehyung's house. She didn't even want to acknowledge the said house as hers anymore: the dirty deeds that took place in there permanently stained it red.

She knew that she had to stay somewhere, but the only suitable place for her to stay was Yoongi's house, and she didn't want to worry him.

He's been her best friend since middle school. He's seen her happy, sad, heartbroken, manipulated. She knows that he cares for her deeply, but she just didn't want him to deal with another broken Jennie that he would have to fix all on his own. He's done that way too many times.

Jennie concluded that she would find a nearby hotel and stay there instead of Yoongi's place.

I can't keep doing this to him....it's best if I collect myself somewhere else....

She kept driving, soon reaching the outskirts of the city and driving through remote streets.

The sky was still dark. The only source of light was the headlights of her car and the distant lights illuminating off of buildings behind the treeline.

Although her eyes were hazy, she kept driving, her hands gripping the wheel until her knuckles turned white.

Eventually, she saw the sign for a motel sticking out in the distance, and she turned into the parking lot once she reached the building.

Parking the car in a parking space, she opened her door and stepped out, peering at the outside of the motel.

She had to admit, motels definitely weren't her first choice, especially since the girl felt high class because of her job and exquisite wardrobe.

But it would only be temporary.

Plus, if Yoongi went out to look for her, a dirty old motel would be the place he least expects her to be.

Especially one surrounded by countless trees and forests...and questionable rusting cars...and a dirty exterior...not to mention a broken sign....

Jennie started to question if she really wanted to stay here, her face starting to scrunch in disgust.

This place is quite unattractive...maybe I could find a nicer one down the road..?

Just when she was turning around to leave, she heard a voice from behind her.

"Why, hello there! Are you coming in to book a room?"

Jennie turned back around, surprised by the sudden voice.

She hadn't seen anyone standing there before or through the windows, but yet when she turned back she saw an older looking woman at the door, a bright smile on her face.

"O-oh...well...I-I thought this was somewhere else...I must've mixed up the location, haha...I should get going so I-"

"Nonsense! You look cold sweetheart! Not to mention lost. Why don't you come in here and stay just for the night? I wouldn't want you out there all alone!" The woman spoke, the smile never leaving her face.
