Bodyguard: Liskook

7:57 pm, Jungkook's apartment

Jeon Jungkook lit a cigar in the dark room, looking out at the city from the enormous glass window.

He was quite tired, and his knuckles ached from all of the punches he threw today.

I wouldn't have had to throw punches at all if it wasn't for my dumb ass mistake, he thought to himself, putting out his cigar and standing from the chair beside the window.

If only I had been extra careful, then I wouldn't have put the whole plan in jeopardy.

Just as he was about to stand and take a quick shower, his phone rang, and he answered it, speaking in a dry and gravely voice.

"Hello?"

"Mr. Jeon, the Boss has another assignment for you. Report to headquarters immediately."

Jungkook sighed, squeezing the bridge of his nose.

"This late at night? But-"

"He expects that you won't mess up another mission. You have half an hour to report to headquarters."

The woman on the phone hung up abruptly, leaving an annoyed Jungkook on the other end of the call.

"Another assignment? I thought he told me that I was off duty until further notice...."

Jungkook knew that he couldn't refuse his boss, so, even though he regretted it, he stood up, putting on his shoes and black coat, grabbing his keys and exiting his apartment.

By then, it was already 8:10, and the rain has started, making this night even more mysterious and gloomy.

Jungkook walked to his black car and opened the door, sitting in the driver's seat, not even caring that his clothes and hair were already wet.

"This assignment better not be a tough one..."

8:30 pm, Headquarters

The rain has settled down only a little bit when Jungkook arrived to headquarters.

He stepped out of his car, blending in to the dark atmosphere outside like a chameleon.

Jungkook approached the large, metal door and knocked three times, signaling the opening of a thin slot that allowed the person on the inside to peer out at Jungkook.

"Code." The man on the inside said, his voice deep and booming.

Jungkook opened his mouth and spoke: "Bunny."

Bunny was the code word that everyone must say to be let in, no matter how recognizable someone was. It was for security purposes; years ago an enemy was let in who wore a mask that resembled one of the workers.

They would have stolen from the organization if one of the bodyguards hadn't seen her try to break into the vault room full of millions of dollars, as well as expensive jewelry and of course, guns.

The man on the other side closed the slot and unlocked the many locks on the other side of the door, opening it wide enough for Jungkook to walk in, not forgetting to peek outside before closing it again.

Jungkook didn't even spare a passing glance at the bodyguard as he walked past him and into the lobby, where the halls were deserted with the exception of a few agents and workers roaming and talking amongst themselves.
