The next day Sky and I had went to the park and just goofed off. We walked home and watched a movie. Soon enough, it was time to go to the sleepover. I grabbed my backpack and checked that I had everything. I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in!" I yelled. Hayes came walking in slowly. "Hey!" I smiled at him.
"Ready to go?" He asked checking me out. I brushed it off.
"Yep." I nodded and put on my backpack and we walked out to his black jeep.
"Do you have the address?" He asked.
"Yeah," I put the address in my phone and we started off.
"What time will you be back tomorrow?" He looked over at me.
"Maybe, 9?" I shrugged. "But don't worry, Amelia's grandma is picking us up."
"Grandma?" He chuckled. "I'll pick you up." He smirked. "Just don't be hungover when I do."
"Hayes! I'm not going to be hung over." I laughed and so did he.
"Just text me when you're ready." He said. "Or is there a time you want me to come?"
"Will you pick me up at 9:30?" I asked.
"Yup." He nodded and pulled into the driveway. Before I got out he stopped me.
"If you're uncomfortable just call me and I'll come get you." He said. I giggled and slid out of his car.
"Thanks dad." I joked. He smiled and shook his head. "Thank you Hayes."
"Anytime. Have fun!" He smiled and I closed the door.
The house door swung open and a bunch of girls ran out all greeting me and embracing me in a hug. I matched their energy and greeted them all. I looked back at Hayes car and waved. I saw through the tinted windows his arm waving by and saw his pearly white smile. I smiled. The girls took me inside.
"We should film a music video!" Emma suggested. I nodded in agreement.
"What song?" Sophie said.
"Pretty girl! Its like a girl power song." Amelia suggested. Emma pulled it up on her phone and we all listened.
"Lets do it!!!" Everyone yelled. I love these girls already. (watch video above)

It was 11 o'clock and the girls and I had gotten a good friendship thing going on. We all loved eachother. So far I could tell that my really really good best friends in the group were, Amelia, Sophie, and Emma.
The parents of the house had blown up floaty pools and put them in the huge pool. 4 girls would be in each pool. There were 5 pools. We all got in and put our blankets and pillows in it.
Emma, Amelia, Sophie and I were in one together. We laid looking at the stars. I thought about Hayes. I wanted him. No, I needed him. But it probably will never happen.
My phone lit up with a notification. I looked down at it:
Message from Hayes Grier
I smiled and opened it up.
It was a video of Skylynn talking to me.
"Lydia!!!! I miss you!!! Come back!" She yelled. I smiled. The camera went back to Hayes. "Sorry. She starting smacking me until let her say something to you."
I grinned like an idiot and texted him back.
Miss you both. 💛
I slid my phone in my pocket and went to sleep.

Hayes POV:
It was time to pick up Lydia from the sleepover so I tossed on a hoodie and some basketball shorts. My hair was messy so I combed it over with my hand. I grabbed my car keys and drove to the house.
I really liked Lydia. A lot. I want to marry this girl. I just know she's the one. But I gotta take small steps. The way she smiles and laughs drives my crazy. I love her.
I pulled into the driveway and texted her I was here. She didn't respond for 10 minutes so I got out of the car and knocked on the house door.
A woman in her late 30's answered.
"Can I help you?" She smiled.
"I'm here to pick up Lydia." I replied.
"Come on in." She opened the door wider. I stepped in and we walked through the house. "The girls were crazy last night. They filmed a dance video, had a dance party, got on a sugar rush, talked about boys, pranked people... It was cute."
I smiled at the thought of Lydia.
"They slept in the pool in pools." She laughed. "Lydia is probably really really loopy. Just a warning."
She opened the screen door and I saw girls laying in pool floaties. Some were awake and just staring at the sky or lightly making conversation. A few girls had climbed out of the pool beds and were sitting on chairs packing up. Most were still passed out.
"Hey mom." A girl smiled and walked up.
"Hi Sophie. This man is here for Lydia. Where is she?" The woman asked. The girl looked at me.
"Oh... you must be Hayes." She smiled at me.
"How...?" I started confused.
"She talks about you like your a dream." The girl smiled. I grinned and looked at the pools. The woman grabbed a metal stick and handed it to the girl. The girl stuck it inside one of the pools and pulled it to us. 4 girls laid in it including Lydia, all asleep.
I crouched down next to it and held onto the side. Lydia was peacefully sleeping. The girl sat next to me but kept distance and held onto the float.
I touched her arm. She nuzzled in her blanket.
"Hey Lydia..." I whispered. She slowly opened her eyes and saw me. She shot up.
"Sophie, did my alarm go off?" She asked the girl who was waking up.
"Yeah, Emma turned it off because you wouldn't wake up." Sophie said. Lydia groaned.
"Sorry Hayes." I groaned.
"This is Hayes?" Another girl whisper-yelled waking up.
"Emma!" Sophie yelled. "Shhh"
Lydia was talking about me then. Maybe I do have a chance. I smirked at Lydia who blushed.
Lydia sat up in the bed with a cute messy bun. She sat her blankets on the concrete next to me. She had a light blanket and a pillow. Another girl in the bed stood up.
