I heard the door to my bedroom open. I looked at my clock.
12:43
I rolled over and looked at the door. Hayes stood there.
"I don't like not being with you." He said. I lifted up my covers and he got in my bed.
**Time Skip**
Once I woke up it was 9:43. I unattached myself from Hayes who grumbled.
"Come back." He mumbled in a husky voice.
"I gotta get Skylynn ready for her playdate." I walked out of the room kissing his cheek.
I walked into Sky's rooom.
"Skylynn, time to get ready." I said as she slowly stood. "Get changed and then we can go get breakfast."
I walked to the bathroom to get stuff to do her hair.
Once she finished, she came in the bathroom and sat on a stool while I did her hair. I did it in dutch braids.
Hayes walked in changed.
"We're gonna go out for breakfast. Are you coming?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said.
"Okay. I gotta go change." I said walking out.
I walked to the living room where Hayes tickled Sky as she screamed and tries to kick him away. Smiling, I grabbed the car keys to the Range Rover.
"Lets go." I opened the house door and walked to the car. Hayes jumped in passenger and Sky slid in the back.
"Where are we going?" Hayes asked.
"Where do you guys wanna go?" I asked him.
"Mama Miya." Sky said. I pulled out of the driveway. Hayes plugged in the Aux. He started playing Nightmares by @ YungPinch (good song. I love it).
****Time Skip to football game****
(above is cheerleaders outfits)
Hayes and I were driving to the football game in our outfits.
"Oh my gosh." I said. "I'm so excited for boating tomorrow."
"Me too." He said. I parked the car and we got out. He slid his hand into mine and held it. Some cheerleaders were talking with their boyfriends.
"Ladies!!!!!" Kelly yelled. "Huddle!"
I stood on the tips of my toes and kissed Hayes then ran off along with the other girls.
"I have good news!" She said. We all looked at eachother. I fixed my ponytail. "We've been accepted to Nationals and we'll be gone for a whole month in Florida!"
Some people were so excited. But the ones who had boyfriends here were sad. I looked back at Hayes who was laughing with his friends.
"I don't want to leave Hayes." I whispered sadly to Emma.
"I don't want to leave Jackson."
Jenna started screaming. Everyone looked at her.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?" She shrieked.
Kelly nodded.
"IM SO EXCITED!!!!" She squealed and jumped up and down. Amelia sat down on the ground. I sat down also along with others who were on the verge of tears.
"Its going to be very tough. But I believe in us." Kelly said. Emma and I laid down on the grass. My hands went over my face as I tried to contain tears. I just got back from leaving Hayes.
"When are we leaving?" Emma asked. A tear pricked and it slid down her cheek.
"Next week." She said. I let out a sigh. Kelly noticed how sad some of us where. "I'll give you guys a five minute break."
I stood up and looked for Hayes. He waved me over. I jogged towards him and wrapped him in a hug. He was confused but hugged back.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Hayes. I have to leave next week for a month for Nationals." I said not letting him go.
"Lydia that's great!" He said. "Wait. A month?"
"Yeah, unless we get kicked out early." I said.
"Baby. I want you to not focus on me. This is your dream. I'm still going to be here when you get back. This is what you moved to North Carolina for. This is your future."
"You are my future." I said.
"Right now, I want you to focus on the game." He said. "Lets talk about this tonight. Okay?"
"Okay." I nodded and jogged back.
"Ladies, we're going to start stretching. So do your stretches." Kelly. commanded. I got on the floor with Amelia and did stretches.
After that Kelly had us to a run through of our dance. Once people started arriving we were told to just do flips to warm up.
Hayes had been doing so good through the whole game and our team was winning. During halftime we did our cheer and when I walked out Hayes yelled: "THATS MY GIRLFRIEND!!!!"
I giggled a little.
(go back and watch the videos from their cheer practice)
The boys won and we ran on field. Hayes wrapped me in a hug.
After, we walked to the parking lot. I got in the drivers seat.
I didnt pull out.
"Lydia, I want you to go." Hayes said.
"I don't want to leave you."
"I'm still going to be here when you get back."
"How do we know we won't drift apart?" I questioned.
"We can Skype and text, I'll call you each night." Hayes said. I pulled out of the parking space and drove home.
"Hayes. I'm not going to have a lot of free time." I said. "This isn't a vacation."
"Lydia, tell me this. Why did you come to North Carolina?"
"To go further in cheer."
"So why are you stopping for me?" He asked.
"I love you."
"Just go!" He said. "I want you to go."
I didn't say anything. This is what I wanted. I'll go. I don't want to. But I'll do it.
"Yes?" Hayes asked.
"Yeah." I whispered and parked the car getting out.
"Are you mad at me?" He asked.
"No." I opened the door and went to my room. Hayes opened the door.
"I love you." He said.
"Mhm." I said changing. He stood there watching me waiting.
"I love you." He repeated. I crawled in bed. He got on top of me and started tickling.
"Stop!" I said thrashing around but I couldn't move because he had me pinned.
"Not till you say you love me back!" He continued.
"I love you Hayes!" I said as he kept tickling. "I love you!!!" I yelled. He stopped and got off. "You little..."
He kissed me then went to his room. I pouted.
