mother's day

Today is mother's day, and I feel so sad, my chest also hurts. I will try to stay here all day and cry or not. There comes a soft knock on the door.

Come in, I tried to act normally.

Niall the boys invited us to Harry's house. Dad said

Why ?

To celebrate mother Christmas, dad look as if is normal.

Can I just stay here, am not feel well. I said while looking away.

Dad sigh but sat next to me. I know it is hard for you, but look at me, I look at his green eyes, you need to fight this battle and win, you deserve to be happy.

Okey I'll come with you. I said while giving a smile and hugging him.

I too I love you as big as sun, even bigger. He smile then kissed me. We  went to Harry's house.

Lili, or liammy, just like dad curse you act like one. I said while blushing, I have forgotten the last time I blushed.

Whoa nini you just curse like all American teenagers should. Harry said.

I sent him a death glare that shut him up.

And the boys just laughed

Their parents were present too, suddenly I feel weird, this feeling of pain on my chest, I excused myself and went to the toilet. I Coughed only to see blood stain on my hand, I down know what is happening to me. I cleaned my hands and walk back to the lads I sat on the couch.

Niall are you OK ?

Yeah am fine, i gave them a fake smile.

OK then we go talk to some friends, if you need us then we are over there, Liam said while walking away.

Today is just as horrible as the day my mum died. She is missing me, didn't know when tears started dropping from my cheek. I just hug my self and cried silently.

Niall, oh baby, why are you crying ? I heard dad voice and his comfortable touch.
I just hug him without a word.
He hug back and kissed me.

She is missing me, why did she leave ? I sob in the crook of his nick.

Don't cry, is OK you have me. Dad said and I heard Liam's voice.

And us ! We did a group hug and all the mum. Joined.

You see you are not alone, am here, they are here. I smile at dad at his encouraging words. But it didn't last. The pain on my chest came back and it made me to scream then held my chest.

Niall are you ok? Dad had a worried look on his face.

No m-my c-chest h-hurts. I manage to say ask I gasp for air.

Niall breath, Liam ordered in a panic but soft tone.

I-i c-can't. Now it was worst I just black out.

Liam's POV
Oh my gosh. Niall just zone out.

Call a doctor, an ambulance I was panicking.

Liam calm down Niall will be fine. Mr James said while he pick niall up.

Everyone look worried, and scared.

I will come with you. I said while opening the door.

We come also, harry proposed

No boys enjoy with your mum, it won't be fair leaving them. Today is mother's day, I will inform you guys if everything is back to normal. We entered the car and drove to the hospital, when we arrived at the hospital niall was quickly admitted. We waited patiently till the doctor invited us to his office.

Take a seat, we did as told.

My name is doctor Matthew.
Your son, is in a big danger.

How doctor ? I asked in a scared tone.

He just sigh, he has a glass in his ribs in between his heart, and it is very dangerous, it might cursed him his life. He doctor said while looking at our eyes.

How is that possible, don't tell me he swallowed a bottle of glass. I can feel tears rolling down my cheek.

No Liam, he was in a car accident in which he lost his mum, then had part of the car glass stock in his chest, he was operated and the glasses was taken away, but one little part remained stuck.

Then why didn't they remove it. I as expecting, "they forgot" 😸

He was too young, his heart was not well developed. And it could have cursed him his life. Niall dad said.

Why can't they do it now ?

The doctor sigh once again. He is still young not until he is fourteen.
But their is still hope, make him feel happy, don't let his emotions control him. The doctor prescribed some medicine.

Can I see him ? I asked

Yeah of curse, he made a phone call and a nursed entered.

Yes sir, she said

Take this young man to niall horan's room. I stood up and the nursed lead me to Niall's room while, his dad remain talking with the doctor. When I entered the room I saw my little innocent brother laying unconscious on the hospital bed.

Call me if you have a problem. The nurse said as she leaves.

Why him ? He is so innocent, he doesn't merit this, I sob on Niall's chest, I can't loose you little brother. This is the first time am crying so hard after the death of my mum. 30 minutes later his dad entered with the doctor.

Oh Liam stop crying he will be fine. Niall dad said.

Is he aware ?

No he isn't. He responded but let's take him home, the doctor say we can, he is just sleeping.

I nodded, while I watch Mr James pick his son, with so much love in his eyes that made me smile. He is staying strong for his son.
We arrived at niall's home, I contacted the boys and my father. Inform the boys about niall problem and no one should tell him. I called my father to tell him I'll be staying at niall house for the night. Everything went good and I slept beside niall. Looking at him and asking myself why is life so unjust ?
