Felix walked up his driveway, opened his door and took off his shoes.

"Oh hey you're home!" Minho came from out of nowhere. He just walked down the stairs making Felix scream.

"HOLY SHIT MAN! DON'T DO THAT TO ME" Felix yelled clutching onto his chest. Minho giggled and walked up to him giving a high five.

"Hm? Felix is home?" Next was Jeongin to come down the stairs.

"How.. how did you guys get in?" Felix head tilts to the side after he takes off his beanie.

"I mean, we have an extra key sooo, we just kinda let ourselves in. But beyond that! What where you and Changbin talking about? I see you guys walk together." Minho said fixing his own ears.

"That is none of your concerns." Felix said walking to his windowsill looking out from it to Changbin's house. He was to busy daydreaming that he didn't realize Changbin opening his certain and looking back at Felix. Changbin noticed Felix looking at him. So he just smiled and waved. Felix snapped out of his thoughts once he saw Changbin waving at him and he turned red as he waved back.

"If you like him that much, why don't you just say it already?" Minho sat down.

"I don't need to worry about confessing. I just need to worry about how I'm going to tell him we are mates."

Both Jeongin and Minho's eyes widened.

"Mates? How do you know? What happened?" Minho practically demanded.

"Well, I guess to make it short. Chan wanted to come over for me to help him with his music. I said yes of course. Someone knocked on the door I answered thinking it was chan but it wasn't. It was Changbin. I of course didn't have a hat on or anything and had to explain it to him.  He touched my ears and I felt it." Felix explained in the fastest way he could.

" I knew it! I knew it! I knew it knew it knew it!" Jeongin danced around the room.

"That's so cool! I haven't found mine yet but I hope it's a certain someone."

"Pft how much do you wanna bet his mate is Jisung" Felix whispered into jeongins ear making the maknae smile and nod.

"Anyways, when will you tell him? I mean, he clearly needs to know" Minho came to his senses.

"I mean, it's Friday. So I was planning on inviting him over to watch a movie and I can tell him then. But you guys ended up in here."

"We're Sorry Felix Hyung!! We'll leave right now!" Jeongin bowed grabbing minho's arm and running of out the door.

"Jeez these kids." Felix sighed grabbing his phone. He unlocked it and went onto messages and clicked on Changbins name.

Hm? Oh sure
If it's fine I'll be over there in 30?

Felix put his phone back into his pocket and quickly ran to the washroom. He opened the door and looked into the mirror. Damn, I look like trash, more than usual, Felix though to himself. He quickly grabbed his special brush and started gently brushing the fur on his ears and tail. He then brushed his hair and teeth while quickly changing into a t-shirt and some light grey joggers.

After about 20 minutes or so, he heard a knock on his door.

"It's open!" He yelled running down the stairs and to the door way.

"Well hi there" Changbin said taking off his shoes closing the door. He then plopped onto the couch as if it was his own house with Felix joining him soon after. Well, he's been here several times.

"So, what kind of movie did you wanna watch?" Felix asked bringing the blanket up from off the floor, his tail swaying.

"I'm kinda into horror nowadays" (yo I'm sorry I had to ok). The older responds.

"O-oh cool me too" Felix lies, clearly. Even the most dense person could tell he was lying.

"Y'know, we can pick other movies,"

"No no it's fine! Pick one." Felix handed Changbin the remote and sat beside him.

Changbin chose a movie, and settled into the couch. As soon as it started, Felix jumped. The fur on his tail sticking right up.

"I'll go make some popcorn" Felix excused himself and practically flew to the kitchen.

-~-after like, 20 minutes-~-

Felix came back into the living room and sat back down beside Changbin. He brought the popcorn back with him.

"What took you so long?"

"Oh I just got distracted."

Changbin nodded his head and turned his attention back to the tv. Felix slowly got closer and closer to Changbin. To say he was petrified, that's just an understatement. He ended up wrapping his tail around changbins waist and cuddling into his side hiding his face in his chest. Changbin noticed and chuckled at the cute boy.

"You scared?" He asked, the hybrid nodding. "We don't have to watch it you know." The hybrid nodding again.

"It doesn't matter it's fine" the younger said quietly.

Eventually, like all movies it ended. Felix slowly letting go of changbins arm and releasing his tail from the others waist.

Felix turned off the tv and sat in front of Changbin.

"Hey, I wanna talk to you about something." Felix said looking up at the elder.

"Shoot"

Felix took a breath in, and a breath out.

"Let's start with this. Us hybrids have this thing called mates. It's kind of like a soulmate I suppose. You don't really get to chose who you get to be with. But like any other normal person, we do have small crushes, and we can date. We just need to be with our real mate by the time we're eighteen or we slowly die. It sounds fake and horrible but it's the truth. But back to the original topic. Mates are the person you are destined to be with. How do you find your mate you might ask. Well different breeds have their own ways. Like cats, you gotta rub our ears and you feel this weird spark in your stomach. Foxes, you have to cuddle them. Dogs, feed them."Felix explained.

"Why did you tell me that?" Changbin questioned.

"It's because we're mates."

Hey long time no see!

I'm so sorry I haven't posted a new chapter in quite some time. I've been really busy lately and I haven't been feeling that well.
Aside from that, how have y'all been? I'm sorry the past chapters sUCK.
I kind of made up how the whole mate stuff works so oops. Before I forget, I'm making a jeongchan book. I'm not going to publish it until I'm almost done this book. It's going to be way better than this one. Anyways byeeeee
