Her fingers flew across the piano, each second words came into her mind.
A sound came from behind her, and her fingers stopped moving.
"Hello, Maxwell," she spoke out, her fingers above the keys of the piano.
Footsteps came up from behind her, and arms hugged her waist, resting a head on her shoulder.
"You know, you can call me Max, right Mariella?" The voice of the man was enough to give her shivers, and her name being said by him made a slight smile appear on her lips.
"Oh I know, but you also call me Mariella instead of Marie, or Ella. I thought best to do the same for you," her voice was light, amused by his appearance.
Maxwell reached his hand up to grasp Mariella's jaw gently, turning her head to look at his face.
Mariella stared into his eyes, those deep hazel-brown eyes, and he stared into her chocolate brown eyes in return. After a moment, Maxwell leaned in, and kissed her lightly, but with a purpose.
The two continued the kiss for a moment, but it really felt longer. They had closed their eyes, relishing in the moment, when Maxwell disconnected their lips to take in a breath.
Mariella had been glad to be able to breathe again, and so she made sure to take in what she could.
"Good enough for you?" Maxwell asked, a flirty spark in his eyes.
"No," Mariella smirked slightly. "But that's fine for now." She looked back down at her hands, then to the piano.
Maxwell kissed her cheek, keeping his hands around her waist.
"Are you going to stay here and listen?"
"Possibly... Do you want me to?"
"I don't mind," Mariella said in response. She knew it would put a little pressure on her shoulders, knowing he would be listening. Yet, she knew she wanted him to hear.
After a moment, she started to play the same song on the piano, and then when she was ready, she started to sing along. The words came from her heart, and she felt Maxwell's warmth around her. She felt his breath next to her, and she felt his eyes, those wonderful entrances to his soul, gaze at her.
She continued to look down at the piano, and to which her voice and the keys on the piano slowed to a stop. It was all silent for a few moments, and she didn't look up.
"Mariella..." His voice caused her to glance at him, turning her head a little.
"Yes...?" Her voice was quiet.
"That was beautiful." He pressed forwards a little, placing his forehead on hers lightly. She had no choice but to look into his eyes. She loved those eyes, it told so much about him. The softness his eyes showed her... she loved it. He genuinely thought she was beautiful, and that the song was beautiful because the music was *hers*.
A slight curl of her lips showed a hint of a smile, as they gazed into each others' eyes.
Mariella took advantage of this, and leaned forwards to kiss him gently, her eyes closing.
Maxwell closed his eyes, feeling bliss through the love of his significant other.
As they disconnected to breathe once again, Maxwell's hands had loosened around her waist, and she started to stand up, her hand sneaking around to hold his.
The female started to lead him to another room, Maxwell looking at her in playful curiousity. Mariella winked at him, and soon enough she had led Maxwell to their room.
Maxwell's expression had changed from playful curiousity to flirty, once he saw where they were going.
Opening their door, Mariella led him inside, and the door shut behind them.
