A line of people crowded up the sidewalk, each waiting to enter the building they hoped would make their lives better. Each person didn't have much with them, just enough to get by.

In front of the building laid a tall fence, with small holes to let you look in, but not to go through. In the middle of the fence, in front of the first person in line, was a gate.

With the people, they had a small silver-colored ticket, with their names written on it in black colored print.

At the gate, a guard took each ticket with a careful eye, making sure they were the right person after many questions asked.

Guards wore green uniforms, a silver pin and a red feather engraved on it. They wore a white almost-fedora looking hat, with a single light red feather sewn onto it.

A newly teen stood without one of these tickets. Looking around the line, the teenager noticed everyone looked different, but had similar characteristics.

The teen looked down at his hands, he didn't have one of his own. He looked back at the people in line, with their tickets. They all looked to be patiently waiting, but since the teen couldn't afford what they had, he had only one idea; To go through at any cost.

Quickly, the teen starts to climb the fence, hearing no voices telling him to stop. Yet not soon after, he heard yells down on the ground. Many voices yelled in outrage, others in shrieks of surprise or warning.

He knew he wouldn't be stopped - he knew the people wouldn't risk their spots in line, especially knowing how close they were to getting inside.

He kept climbing, a thrill running through his veins. Soon, as he came to the top of the fence, it started shaking.

He knew someone at the bottom was trying to make him fall, but he held on.

Swinging his leg over the side of the fence, he felt a sharp tug from that side, and as he lost his grip, he fell to the other side.

Expecting to hit the ground, the teen closed his eyes - only to be dropped into a pair of comforting and warm arms.

Opening his eyes, he locked eyes with a pair of beautiful brown eyes.

Losing focus on where he was, the teen didn't notice being moved from his spot in the brown-eyed beauty's arms.... to right outside the gate.

Dropping the teen onto the ground, the brown eyes looked at him with a spark of anger and distrust.

The eyes were disgusted he would try to get over the fence illegally, without a ticket of approval.
