Chapter 3: I'm really curious about her

Ray POV:

At the early age, I come to know many things.

About this orphanage, about Mama and I'm the only one who knows all of it.

The other kid didn't know and they believed if they got adopted by some parents they will have a happy life but they only to get killed and eat by some unknown creatures or demons.

It's hurt seeing your siblings or family you loved getting killed everytime but you can't even save them.

At the early age, I realized I'm weak.

So I created this plan and I made this plan for a very long time so this should work perfectly letting Norman and Emma witness the demons and.... Sacrificing Conny.

And Conny's birthday was getting close.

"Hey Ray! Wake up! it's morning." A white hair with blue eyes boy said it was Norman.

"Ok." I reply while I'm still a little bit sleepy. It's morning and I'm on my bed while Norman waking me up and so I jumped out the bed.

"Hey, I will wake up the other kids so you can go first." Said by Norman.

So while walking on the hall I saw (y/n) inside of a room and she's pinching her cheek over and over until it got red and her face look likes she's having some kind of amnesia so I decided to approach her to ask if there was something wrong.

But she said she was fine but the look on her face unavoidable to ignore because every morning, when she woke up she always had this cheerful smile so I think she's acting a bit of weird.

I greeted her and walk towards to the kitchen and Norman catch up with me. "Hey (y/n) is acting kind of weird Right?" I said to Norman.

"She is? I think she's fine though. why you've ask that?" He replied

"No, it's nothing. must be my imagination then."

While helping to prepare the breakfast I saw (y/n) in the kitchen and she bumped into mama and her expression on mama change But why? I mean (y/n) always hug mama everyday but her face now look like she's nervous, no- more like she's scared

I'm having breakfast with everyone and while eating I just watching (y/n) she has this pale face and she is just staring down at her food probably she didn't have an appetite.

This is really strange... It's like she know something or is it really my imagination?

It's afternoon and I'm outside and sitting in the tree while reading something and I've noticed everyone is outside playing including mama but except for (y/n).

This is the first time that she act like that so I stood up and go to the house and go to the room where is (y/n) was and there she is and she's like having deep thought while she's laying down in her bed.

I asked again what is wrong and stuff and she replied me "why would you think so Ray?" And she smiled at me weakly but this isn't the (y/n) I know.

"If you're going to be sad its either you got lost to some games or you cut your hands or something but none of that happened yesterday and I saw your reaction to Mama when you bumped at her earlier." I said to her

After when I said that she immediately look around on the room and look on the window. I wonder what's wrong and she's said suddenly said that she wanted to make a deal with me and she knows my secret and she said it calmly but confidently

Wait my secret?? I ask what was she talking about and what secret and she replied "it's about the harvest thing."

What?

She know? How? I was sure that no one else know except me but how and I asked to her what was all she knows and she said she almost know everything in this orphanage that this is just a farm and mama is lying to us.

So I decided to calm down.

First things first I told her we cannot talk in here, we should talk it when everyone is sleeping and meet up in the library at night because somebody might hear and found out it's too risky and she must act normal and play with the other kids so mama won't be suspicious to us.

And she agreed to me so after she agreed to me I quickly walk out to the room while my hands is on my pocket she followed me outside too probably she is going to play with the kids

How did she know?What deal? My plan might be ruined...

An hour pass mama called us because we are going to take the daily exam.

When the exam finished. Mama return us our exam score and as expected Emma, Norman and me got a perfect score but I was surprised that (y/n) got a perfect score too she always get an average score but perfect?

It's seems like everyone is surprised too.

Now that I can confirm something has changed on her.

It's night time so I went to the library and five minutes later she arrived and she's nervous so I decided to get to the point that how did she know.

she said she can't tell her reason to reason to me because I won't probably understand and said that she can help me with my plan... She even know my plan? And said I can't ask her either

Since she can't tell me the reason i just ask why and she replied that its too complicated and I won't believe in her.

Now I am really curious... But she said she will help me with my plan and I think she became a little matured than yesterday. she even got a perfect score in the exam.

But she did state that she's on my side and no other.

I know (y/n) she wasn't the type of person who can lie.

But, I've always thought that (y/n) was naive, innocent. I never she would realized the secret behind this farm.

Yesterday she was acting normal as she usually does but today. She acted more mature, more smarter. What happened in just overnight?

I feel like, I suddenly don't recognize (y/n).

Wait if I let her help me I can observe her and know her secret. So I decided to take the deal that was offer to me.

We headed back to our room after we finished talking while walking towards in the room and (y/n) is walking besides me and it's seems like she's thinking something sad and her eyes are cheerless I wonder what she thinking.

I thought in my mind maybe because she found out and believed that everyone is going to be happy when they got adapted so I ruffled her head and smiled at her and I compliment her that she became an more interesting person to cheer her up a little even though it's impossible and I waved at her and go back to my room.

But first comes in my mind.... Does she even know that I'm mama's spy?

Now I'm curious about (y/n) I am going to use this opportunity to observe and watch her.
