I was reading a book which ray gave it to me, to kill some time. I am already recovered from the fever and I'll able to sleep in my room today.
I heard a knock coming from the door so i told them to come in. It was Norman.
Did he come to visit me? Based on the story, They already talk about the escape with ray in the forest,then i guess this is the first appearance of sister krone? Did he come to tell me about sister krone?
"Hello (Y/N) how are you?" Norman asked me with a sincere tone of voice "Hey Norman, Like Mama said I already recovered."
"That's good."
Then Norman looks at the front door and someone is coming in. And gave me a huge shock.
A unknown person whose i never saw before or in the story. He was wearing the uniform provided of the house. He has a short dark-brown hair, and a light green eyes. I couldn't believe about what i saw.
"His name is Jean by the way and he is in the same age as you , he's the new family member of this house and there's another new member as well, her name was carol but she is still a baby." Norman explained but i was not able to hear it. My mind was blank.
"Nice to meet you, i heard your name is (y/n)." Then he gave me a smile but his smile suddenly got dark. It was a splits second when he did that "Huh?"
Did he appeared on the story? In the manga?
I felt someone is staring at me and it was Norman, I immedietly change my face and replied. "N-nice to meet you too jean! I am so happy that we have a new family!" I said with an happily tone of voice. This is really my personality before I remebered my previous life.
"Im happy too, ansd everyone warmly welcomes me!" Answered by him and smiled like a cute child.
"I'm glad." I answered back.
"Jean, (y/n) I am just going to finish some chores."
"Okay! I want to chat for a bit with (y/n) thank you for showing me around the house Norman."
He wants to talk with me?
"Then I leave you guys alone, See you later" Norman casually smiled and left, also he closed the door after that.
A few seconds of silience after Norman left A word came out to his mouth.
"(Y/n)? Hmm...." then he grinned.
"You..." He said with informal tone of voice. I feel like his persomality changed after norman left.
"You has the same bar code as me." He pointed at my neck. My bar code? Wait do they normally called this number as a bar code? I know that everyone at this house doesnt call this a bar code.
I look at his neck and the number was "58602", he noticed that i was staring at his neck. He sat at the chair in the front of the bed.
"Jugding by your reaction, you probably didn't know the meaning behind of this number."
He said while he still has the smug face.
"You are the only person here who i didn't recognize, Plus you looked at me differently like others, Their eyes were welcoming me and happy but..."
He stared at me like he was observing me, I couldn't speak a single world.
"Why do you look at me like I don't belong here? Perhaps, are you aware of the word call [reincarnation]?" The question he just asked me made me realize... this person is reincarnated too, but why is he like that? I was totally scared when i realized that i was reincarnated at this world.
"You're probably thinking that I reincarnated as well."
"Yeah." I finally spoke. "But why do you look relaxed? You know what world we reincarnated right?" I asked.
"Pfft..." he snickered.
What's funny about the things I've said?!
He really know how to be disrespectful.
"Oh, sorry," he apologized after seeing my face look annoyed but he sounds like he didn't mean to apologize, that made me even more annoyed.
"To be honest, I don't really care is I died again like my previous life, but this is way too entertaining." Here's come his dark smile again.
So he's telling me that he is okay with this??
"Don't you wanna know?" He spoke again.
"About what?" I was confused about what he said.
"About Why are you here?"
"What?"
"The promised neverland huh? A orphanage you would think you will be happy in the outside world and it turned out to be hell." He tilted his head and continued "that sucks right? I was holding myself to laugh when i saw the protagonist, They probably aware of me now."
"Why? You sounds like you don't take this seriously..."
"Of course, I am serious. Its a matter of life and death situation, right?" He move his face a little closer to mine and whispered with a low voice. "But what if... The only choice for us two is to die?" His face was dark.
"Wh-what do you mean?" I moved back my face a little and my mind was bursting with curiousity about what he said.
"Die? Didn't they succesfully escape from the house? So what are you pointing out?" Stop beating around the bush and just tell me your point. Are he saying that we are exceptional?
"Of course it will be no fun if I tell you right now." He said while smiling, his face finally turned back into normal.
"Huh?"
"Let's end our chat here, shall we?" He stand up in his seat
"Wait! Why can't you tell me now!?" I was annoyed, what with this cliffhanger?
"I'm going to tell you in some other time, what about...."
He closed his eyes and looks like he is thinking, then he opened his eyes like he has a new idea.
"If you beat me in a tag game? The Tag game with sister krone and the kids in the house? If you catch me before Sister krone then I guess we'll gonna have a long talk."
Is he serious?
"Can i refused?" I said with my disinterest face.
"Nope!" He said cheerfully.
"Hahhh..." I let out a deep sigh.
"Deal. I'll catch you jerk."
"Looking forward of that!" Then he waved his goodbye and got out of the room.
What's with him? It seems like he's a college student on his past life or maybe high school student due to his immaturity...
Anyway I still have to meet up with Ray in the library, after he talks with Norman and Emma. ______________
