Chapter 9: Don't blame yourself

Ray POV.

Ever since Norman and Emma left to find Mama and Conny in the forest to give little Bernie back to Conny.

But since everything is going well in my plan, I'm pretty sure they are going to see what's going to happen there... To find out the truth in this house.

I helped the two to clean the dining room and we were about to finished when (y/n) noticed that Gilda is sleepy so she told Gilda that she can go back first and sleep.

Then suddenly After a few minutes, I've heard a "sniff" coming from (Y/n) probably she was crying because of Conny.

She was trying not to be loud so I patted her back to some how comfort her a little.

Even for me, it was hard.
Every time our siblings are going to departed, I can't saying anything about it.

Being Mama's spy has a lot of risk.

"Oh... I'm sorry I've forgotten that you were still here... I hated myself for doing nothing." (Y/n) said while trying to blame herself...

But this isn't her fault... I am ashamed to myself not doing anything and being silent for all the time.

"I... Wasn't able to do anything at all... Even though I knew it from the very start."

Then she didn't hold back her tears anymore, she cried like a little kid and I kept patting her back, I've saw her face and she looks so tired so I told her to sleep.

Since it was already too dark to the point that you won't be able to see your way so it's hard to walk, I accompany her to her room while holding a lamp.
She was just walking silently and looking down.

For me (Y/n) is the most suspicious person in this house, so I kept observing her .

Earlier, in the fences I've noticed her watching us and not saying anything
Until Don show up and the other kids, she decided to show up too and acting like she just arrived but she's actually watching us behind the tree.
And nevertheless, the most things i want to know is 'how did she know the truth?'
I couldn't solved it. It's feel like there's a missing pieces of a puzzle.

But I've read something from the book before, I can't get it out inside of my head.
It's about "Reincarnation"  which is... It doesn't make any sense.

After accompanied her, I've heard something from the downstairs, Norman and Emma are probably back.
So I went to them.

"Welcome home, how did it go?"
I've asked.

Seeing the expression of the two, This is the first time I saw Emma and Norman made this kinda of face.

A face looks so serious and sad,
Emma's being silent.

"We didn't make it in time..." Norman replied
Normally Norman always replied with a smiled but the tone of his voice sounds very serious.

The two went upstairs.

I guess they probably saw what really happened...

My plan has started.
