chapter 21: Sister

Emma POV

I woke up, It was still night time,  I check the clock, it was 2:34 AM,  I woke up because I've heard a sobbing sounds, I look around in the room seems like everyone was peacefully sleeping but except for one person,  It was (Y/N).
She was the one who's breathing really hard, she was sleeping but seems like she's panicking and having a nightmare.
So I went in her bed to try and wake her up.

"(Y/N)?" she was sweating all over her face,  (Y/N)?? " as I tried to wake her up and finally she opened her eyes,  She was looking around the room and asked "W-what? A dream? "

"Yes (Y/N) It was only a dream. " then (Y/N)  hugged me tightly, her hand was still shaking.
"It's okay (Y/N), Everything is fine... " My hand went to her head and gently patting it, calming her down.

I wondered what kind of nightmare she had,  This is the first time that this happened to her,  I didn't asked because I don't want her to remember it again.

After Conny was shipped out, But the kids believe that Conny was Adopted...
(Y/N)  started to become less cheerful,  she was closed with her as well.
If she knew the truth of the house she will be really sad.

Remembering Conny...I felt like my heart was been stabbed.

When (Y/N) calmed down, Her hands were no longer shaking but I could feel the coldness and sweating palm.  Everyone was still asleep and (Y/N) asked me something as she leaned her head into my shoulder.

"Emma,  If you're going sacrifice yourself for others will you do it? " She asked, I don't know what was she thinking that time but her voice tone sounds very serious including her eyes.

"Well, If it for my family,  even if I know they are not going to like it, Maybe.... "

"Haha...That's sounds more like you Emma. " She giggled quietly.
Why was she's asking this kind of question? 

We went back to sleep after the little chat we had and woke up like any other morning, we ate breakfast, answering exam but (Y/N) question still stuck in my mind.

"Emma?" Norman calls up my attention who was finished hanging up blanket with Ray, it was a day we need to do the laundry.

"Let's play tag team from today." He proposed

"In team?"

"If we flee separately like now, most of us will die." Ray joined

"Hey Ray!" I scolded.

He didn't need to say it like that.

"But they're making a good progress. It should work out if they're not separate." Ray said making it sounds like a praise

"So we'll make formation and escape in teams.

"These game of tag will be much closer than the real thing."

"The real thing..." I murmured.

"Oh, I also have another idea,  let's get Don,  Gilda and (Y/N) in the loop,  we'll explain everything to them and have them lead teams of their own." Norman suggested.

"What if one of them spying for mom?" Asked by Ray.

"No problem,  figuring out who the spy is and bringing something those three in, can be done simultaneously,  I've already laid a trap too. " Norman who spoke with a soft voice.

"Wait what about Jean? Shall we tell him? I know he might be suspicious than everyone here in the house but we will bring him too in our escape" I added.

"There's a bigger chance he was bought here to either watch on us or to be send out to the demon like us." Ray mentioned.
