John gets to Logan's house, where he kicks open the door and runs into his room.
"Logan?" John asks. "Wake up, dude!"
Logan groans, and then shows his face to John. Instead of Logan's normal brown eyes, he has black square eyes.
"Greetings, John. I have been expecting you."
"Uhh..." John stammers.
He pulls Exor out of his sheath.
"I know for a fact that's not you saying that! Whatever is in my friend, get out of him or else!"
"You must have very good observation skills."
"Huh?" John is confused.
"I am not Logan. I am the King of Binary, your new overlord, the SYNTAX ERROR!"
Syntax flies out of Logan's head, leaving him unconscious on the floor.
"What the... who are you, and what were you doing with Logan?!"
"I have already introduced myself to you. Now, pledge your allegiance to me instead of your worthless country, and I will not kill you."
"Somebody must have aced all of their vocabulary tests as a kid."
Syntax is overflowing with rage. Its face even turned red, and his trademark smile turned upside down.
"Well, shit. I gotta get out of here!"
John rips away on his bike, trying to get as far away as he can from Syntax.
