"Here kids, get in," The pumpkin headed driver instructed. Mavis and Johnny handed their bags to the zombies to put inside. Johnny got in first, handing Mavis his hand to help her inside, like a true gentleman. Slam! The back of the hearse was closed, and they headed into the forest. The undead on the perimeter waved sadly as their master's daughter left. She was mostly the reason they were there, to protect her, and said hotel. But they guessed this day would come, whether it was with a human or not. Mavis beamed at Johnny, ecstatic she's actually going somewhere.

"So, Mavis, where do you wanna go first?" Johnny asked, curious to know. He told her about so many different places, so many wonderful things they have.

"Can we go to Haweebee?"

"It's pronounced 'Ha-why-eee'"

"Oh, really? I've been saying wrong all this time..." She blushed. Johnny laughed. He thought she was adorable with her little fangs and big blue eyes. She leaned on his chest, and he wrapped his arms around her. He can't believe he was in love, let alone she's the daughter of the Dracula! But you really couldn't tell, she just looks like an adorable goth who seemed innocent.

It's funny how untrue that was.

Mavis felt something in the back of her throat. Something itching, something wanting...She wanted to get closer to Johnny's neck...closer...closer...

She managed to push that weird feeling aside. Johnny finally spoke.

"Hawaii it is! Driver, please escort us to the airport, we shall leave next flight!" Johnny valiantly declared. That made Mavis giggle. "Johnny...what is Hawaii like?"

"Oh man, is it beautiful! Flowers of all kinds, fun parties, not to mention the nice bright su-"

Johnny stopped dead in his tracks. How could he forget!? Mavis can't be in the sun! How am I going to explain this to her? he thought.

"Mavis, you did bring a large hat, right...?"

"Um...no, why?"

Oh no... Johnny thought

"The sun.......I-" his voice shrank. Mavis understood. She pulled out a blanket to cover herself.

"I'll use this, Johnny. Don't worry,"

"No...Mavis....I don't think you understand... you see, you need more than a blanket. Half of Hawaii is pure sun."

"I.....I can get one when we get to the airport, right?"

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure."

"Okay."
