Johnny didn't know what to do about the garlic, but Mavis's throat started turning back to it s normal size, so he assumed she was going to be alright. They rushed to the airport, scared of being followed. They looked at a clock, and saw it was 11:18 p.m. They were breathless when they heard it was time to board their flight. They were skiddish, jumpy, and very cautious about who they looked at face to face, making them look a little suspicious.

Johnny sat in his seat, and pulled out his phone. He plugged in headphones, and handed Mavis one bud. She looked at it in confusion, but took it anyway. Johnny showed her that you put it in your ear, and she did the same. He looked through his playlist.

Bewitched, B.O.T.D.F.,

I'm in Love With a Killer, Jeffree Star,

Monster, Meg and Dia,

Flesh, Simon Curtis,

Fly, Nikki Manaj ft. Rhianna,

Extraterrestrial, Katy Perry,

and so on. He picked one song, he thought Mavis might enjoy: Bad Romance.

Ooohhh~ caught in a bad romance...

Ra ra, ra-ah-ah...Mavis's eyes widened.

Ro ma, ro mama...She tapped her finger.

Ga ga, ooh la la~, want your bad romance.

Mavis started slightly nodding to the beat. Then she looked at Johnny with a wide smile. He chuckled while he ruffled her hair, which quickly went back to normal when his hand pulled away. She giggled.

"I really like this song, it's catchy!"

"Lady Gaga isn't exactly the wisest, but man, can she write songs!" Johnny praised.

"Who's Lady Gaga?"

"The woman singing this, she's big in today's pop culture."

"Cool!"

"I guess, yeah."

Johnny looked out his window. Down below he saw nothing but ocean, a dark shade of blue, glittering from the reflection of the moon.

Beautiful...Johnny thought.

The song ended. Mavis looked sad.

"Can you play it again?"

"Sure!"

They arrived at Romania, and Johnny felt excited. He's never been in some parts of Romania, and wished to explore them while they were here,( if the huntress didn't show up), and once again visit the castle Lubov.

Mavis felt like she was at home, in the older parts, because almost everything surrounding her was brick and old gothic Victorian. But what surprised her the most was...

Vampires. Everywhere. Everywhere she looked, there were vampires. Some looked like gothic Barbies, all black and pink. Some, though, were all black. But there were a few rainbow ones. That made Mavis giggle.

There were so many beautiful girls and vampires, but she saw that she's the only one he seemed to notice. That made Mavis happy. They found a cozy little motel, with a vampire as a clerk, of course. A pretty one at that, curly red hair and bright blue eyes, and black lipstick.

She kept eyeing Johnny, but immediately stopped when she saw Mavis walk in behind him. They were the only ones in the lobby.

"So, you've taken a liking to a no-fang?" The clerk said to Mavis.

"A no-fang?"

"Ya know, a..." She tapped her fangs.

"Oh, Johnny? He's my boyfriend-"

"Wu-wu-wu-wu-wait...he...knows...?"

"Um, yeah?"

The giggling clerk covered her mouth and squealed.

"Omigosh, we can totally be no-fang loving bffs!" She was jumping up and down. Johnny was drawn over by Mavis due to the clerk's fan-girling.

"My name is Aria Wolfsworth,"

"Nice to meet you, I'm Mavis Dracula."

Aria's eyes widened and mouth dropped.

"THE Mavis Dracula!?"

"Yeah, am I famous or something?"

"Do you have any idea how long everyone has been waiting for you to come home?"

"Everyone?"

Johnny stayed silent, unaware of what was happening. Aria closed her eyes and made a weird humming sound.

Mavis looked around to see vampires, so many vampires, piling in and around the small building. Mavis cuddled close to Johnny, weary about everyone eyeing Johnny. An older, but still attractive vampiress walked up to Mavis. She put her hands inside her own, and smiled warmly.

"Welcome home, my dear Mavis!"

"Oh no! No no no no no! This can't be happening! Not Mary Beth! Anyone but her!" Drac started hyperventilating. The woman Mavis is now face to face with is...Mary Beth...her grandmother.

She despised Dracula with a burning passion, she hated the fact that he married her daughter. But when she heard of Mavis's birth, she tried to spend every ounce of her life for Mavis. She lived and breathed Mavis, but had no contact ever since they left for Transylvania. Drac will spend more time watching over her, worried about what people will bring up.

"I'm sorry...what's your name?" Mavis asked. The woman laughed and started to slightly tear up.

"Oh dear, I'm your grandmother! Dontcha remember me?" she had a Scottish accent, even though she was a pure Romanian vampire. Mavis blinked in shock. Johnny felt uneasy about all the she-vampires licking their lips and staring at his neck.
