Drac was searching and searching through all of the books in the library, looking for answers. Mavis is going to want to drink Johnny's blood. Naturally, he thought that she would strike when some funny business was going on. He shook the impure thought out of his head.

When Martha was still alive, she lived for blood. Humans would be afraid of her, because she drank their blood. Dracula never cared for it, but now that he's had a child, she has that desire. That lust. He felt he needed to warn Johnny, but he

he doesn't know how to contact him when he's half way across the Earth.

He would try through the rings, but he can't make actual contact, also because Mavis would know that he was spying on them. She doesn't need to know that, Drac doesn't need her turning on him again.

He found nothing, but he only had one more book to check. It was titled, Creatures of the lore, But he was skeptical, considering it was written by humans. He flips through pages to find legends about vampires.

He starts skimming around, trying to find anything significant, and alas, he did.

Vampires are creatures who resemble humans, only they wear black, with black hair, and lips. Vampires are known for their blood-sucking fangs. Dracula sneered. Those who have their blood drank by said vampire, and drink the vampire's blood, may turn into a vampire his/herself.

Dracula was dumbfounded.

Johnny...a vampire...?

Does Mavis know about this?

Dracula turned the page.

A turned vampire cannot use magic, but they can turn into a bat. To cure a turned vampire, you must catch them when they're in the highest of hunger. Then you must tie them down, and feed them rosemary and ginger. The process takes about an hour.

-H

Dracula's jaw practically dropped. Who's H? How could this human possibly know how a vampire changes a human into a vampire? Or how to cure one? Dracula had never heard anything about a human changing into a vampire. But apparently it has happened, and this just worried him even more.

Johnny and Mavis fell asleep on the bed, his arms embracing Mavis, and her head near his neck. Johnny again was the first one to wake up. The sun was just now setting, and he shut the curtains, and turned on the tv. He crawled back into his place and watched what was on.

It was a teen fiction, based on a novel, called Sparkly Men, apparently. He chucked at it's cheeseyness.

Mavis smelled Johnny's light cologne, and she spread her arms from near her chest to around Johnny's abdomen. Johnny glanced down at her and saw her eyes closed, smiling. He chuckled again.

Bu-bum...

Bu-bum...

Mavis's eyes flew open. The itching was back. Mavis didn't understand! Why is this feeling only around Johnny? Is she wanting...blood...? Is that really what it's all about? Mavis was arguing with herself about it. She can't do this...not to Johnny...

"Hey Johnny?"

"Yo,"

"Where are we gonna go?"

"Where ever you want to go,"

Mavis couldn't think of any other place. All she learned is that her parents met in Hawaii. What else is there?

"Castle Lubov!" Johnny jumped up in excitement.

"What's Castle Lubov?" Mavis asked. She's never heard of it.

But Dracula did. And he once again was listening in. He didn't know why Johnny even mentioned that dreadful place around Mavis. Drac made extra caution about talking about Martha around Mavis, and especially making sure she doesn't know about that castle. But this couldn't be stopped.

"You don't know about that castle?" Johnny's smile disappeared.

"No...why?"

"Drac didn't tell ya...? You'd think the old bat would..."

"Johnny, what are you talking about?" Mavis was really curious.

"Your mom and dad lived there when you were born...But humans attacked..."

He didn't want to hurt Mavis's feelings.

Mavis looked sad, but that didn't stop her from saying "Let's go,"
