TANYAS POV
We've been home for a couple weeks now. me and the girls have written about 4 songs. this making songs thing is pretty fun. Today is the day Calum is coming over to formally meet my family. We've been dating for 2 months.
"Hey mom" I say walking into the kitchen.
"Hey" she says looking at the pan on the stove.
"What are we having for dinner?" I ask
"Baked ziti" she says
"Yay! my favorite" I say smiling
"When's Calum coming?" she asks
"Like 6? maybe. I don't know" I say
she breathed out "ok."do you want to help?"
"Yea. what do you need help with?" I ask
"Get the pan ready" she says
We listened to music while cooking. this is how me and my mom hung out. by making and eating food. later on We were waiting for Calum to arrive. I was scared my family was going to make a fool of theirselves. then he knocked on the door. me and my mom looked at each other. I jumped up and ran to the door so I could beat my mom.
"Hey" I say swinging the door open
"Hi" Calum says
"Are you ready for an interesting night?" I ask
"I guess" he says with a chuckle
I let him in and bring him to the living room where thankfully my mom was not.
"This is my dad" I say and point to him.
"Hi" Calum says sticking out his hand
"Hi" my dad says taking his hand.
Why is my heart beating so much?
"This is my sister, Tammy" I say pointing to her and just noticing her hair is dyed purple at the ends
"Hey" Calum says
She just waves since she's on her phone
"this is my younger brother, Joey" I say and give him a look of don't-say-anything-stupid.
"Hi" Calum says
"Hey" he says then opens his mouth to say something but closes it when he looks at me.
"I have an older brother but he's not normally here.
"Ok" he nods
"my mom is in the other room" I say
He took a deep breath. I did the same and we walked into the kitchen.
"Mom" I say
She turns around. "oh my god! look who it is"
Great. she's going to try and embarrass me. this is going to be a long night.
Calum smiles "hi ms. Williams"
"I hope your hungry. we have lots of food today" she says then gives me a look. and walks out if the room.
Why does my mom do this to? is this a game to her? is she still mad?
"Um. Tanya..." Calum says pulling me from my thoughts.
"Hmm" I say
"Is uh... your mom pregnant?" he asked
"Yea why?" I ask
"Just wondering" he says
"Oh" I say
