"What the fuck did just happen?! Ano'ng kagaguhan ang pumasok sa utak ni Daniel at ginawa niya 'to sa 'yo?!" Galit na galit si Dad at pulang pula na ang mukha niya habang parito at paroon sa loob ng opisina ko.

He's totally in shock. Like me, he's having a hard time believing what he just did to me because I didn't expect it either. I never saw this coming. I never see Daniel as that kind of person. No, he's not a human earlier. He's a monster forcing himself to his prey.

Kade is sitting beside me, trying to console me after what he just witnessed. God, he saw me in that state. Up until now, I can't look at him in the eye. His coat is covering my shoulders which I don't know why. Maayos na rin naman ang damit ko. I don't know. Do I look like I'm chilling? No. I'm not. But my heart is still racing fast. Daniel is out of my office with our security 30 minutes ago but what happened is still playing in my mind. His force is undeniably strong na hindi ko matapatan kahit pa sinubukan ko. I perfectly know how to shoot but I can't defend myself in a situation like that?

Do you know how poor that is, Kaye?

"Hindi ko mapapalampas. Magbabayad ang hinayupak na yon sa ginawa niya! Ang gago! Mabuti na lang at lumabas din ang tunay niyang kulay!" And I saw him scanning his phone then calling someone.

"Who are you calling?" Sana hindi tama ang iniisip ko.

"Attorney. His parents can expect a case that I'll file against that bastard. He needs to get what he deserves."

"Dad, stop it. Huwag mo nang palakihin 'to. Hindi naman niya natuloy. Dumating naman si Kade so it's enough. Yun ang importante sakin, ang hindi niya naituloy ang plano niya."

"Are you hearing yourself, Kaesley? That's sexual assault! At bakit ayaw mo siyang sampahan ng kaso, ha? That's not your best friend! Did he ever consider you as his best friend? Or even just a friend? Because I don't think so for him to do this to you."

Bigla akong natigilan sa mga sinabi ni Daddy. May point siya. At naalala ko na naman ang mga sinabi ni Daniel sakin kanina.

Na purely business lang naman talaga ang ginagawa niyang pagpipilit sakin para magpakasal kaming dalawa. Na hindi naman talaga siya sincere sa lahat ng mga sinabi niya sakin. Hindi siya naging totoo sakin. Hindi naging mabuti si Daniel sakin.

Everything that he said were lies. And that breaks my heart. He betrayed me. He never considered me as a best friend, or even just a friend.

"I don't want to deal with this again. I want this to end right now."

"Your Dad is right, Kaesley. You should file a case against him so that he gets the lesson he deserves after what he did to you." Kade followed up and stares at me.

I stared him back and maybe the hit Daniel made to his face was strong enough that's why his right cheek was already red. But hurt didn't register on his face. He didn't mind at all and he's seriously looking straight to my eyes and it made me feel conscious.

Nagbawi ako ng tingin at nayakap ko na lang ang aking sarili. Masyado akong nagulat sa ginawa ni Daniel never in my entire life I'd thought that he's capable of doing something horrible like that. He's so important to me I never think of him as someone who will do something to hurt me that's why I wasn't able to do my best to push him away. To stop him at that moment.

And I really thanked God Kade arrived. I thank him for coming and stopping him.

But why is he here? Why did he come over?

"Dad, I don't wa---"

When I looked up, I don't see Dad. Pero maya-maya ay sumulpot na rin siya galing sa labas at kasunod si Laishah.
