15.

We're both gasping for air when he let go of my lips. Both of my hands are still on his nape while feeling his warmth when he doesn't let go of my waist.

I don't even want to break that kiss. I want more.

Kade made an evil grin while looking at my lips which are half parted. "I made your lipstick fade and I like the fact that you want more."

"I... I missed you." And I think these are enough words to let him know my true feelings for him. Yes, I badly missed him and I felt bad when I didn't agree to seeing him again. I'm just afraid at that time; afraid that he still wants Brielle and he's just confused with me.

But now... Now that he's here; he chose to go here to see me and tell me that it's me that he really likes to be with; it's enough. It's enough for me to let him know what I truly feel for him.

"You don't know how much I wanted to see you, Babe. Good thing I tried and thought that maybe I can work something out." And his grin is even wider this time; telling me that he's successful after giving it a try.

I smiled at him. "Is it worth it?"

He reached for my lips and kissed me... Hard and hungry. "Yes... It's fucking worth it." And he gently bit my lower lip.

Kade is making me feel so hot at this moment and I'm finding it hard to handle. Gusto ko na lang umalis at magkulong kami sa isang kwarto. Pero alam kong hindi pwede.

"I think I need to go back to the powder room." I said after letting me go.

He made a soft laugh. "I'm totally fine with how messy you look right now but, I'm sure you would like to be presentable in the eyes of others so, I'll let you go back to the powder room. I'll wait here."

And when I saw myself in the mirror, I'm totally right when I said I looked like a mess! I immediately fixed my hair and put on that pink lipstick earlier. And I start imagining Kade's lips brushing on mine again. That feeling that's building inside me? I think I will start craving it.

The only time Kade let go of my hand after we head back to the party is when he handed his gift to Laishah.

"Naku, Sir! Sana hindi na kayo nag-abala! Nakakahiya po." Si Laishah na halatang nahihiya pero hindi rin kayang itago ang kilig. Alright, I'll let her have some butterflies in her stomach because I can't blame her if she can't help it but adore Kade. I'll just remind myself that this guy besides me... Is mine. He's mine, right?

Good Lord, Kaesley. When did you become possessive?

Kade flashed a sincere smile. "Of course I should give you one. It's your birthday. Nakakahiya naman kung wala akong dala."

"Sige na nga po. Thank you po ulit, ha. I'm sure, masaya si Ma'am Kaye dahil nandito kayo ngayon. Sabi niya kasi br---"

"Laish!" At pinandilatan ko siya ng mga mata. Nakakainis 'to, mukhang may balak pang magkwento kay Kade.

But I heard him laugh. When I turn to look at him, he's eyeing me while grinning.

"Yea, we had a little fight but we sort it out already. We're more than okay now."

Laishah can't stop smiling at me after hearing it from Kade. She's giving me that look as if I owe her a story to tell after this party which I would like to. Parang mas mahirap kasing i-contain yung happiness ko kapag hindi ko nai-share. But I'll let her enjoy her day, for the meantime. And I'll enjoy it as well... With him by my side.

Her party ended the way I expected it to be. Big smiles on their faces, her colleagues are drunk but definitely had fun, her family is still talking about the event even when we went outside of the main gate while waiting for the van to pick them up. Her parents are grinning from ear to ear; obviously so proud of their daughter and I can tell that they're so happy for her. Sa panahon kasi ngayon, bihira na lang yung masayang pamilya. Yung genuine care and love ng isang pamilya, bihira na lang. That's why I'm happy Laishah has that kind of family that she will always cherish.
