A/N~ Hello again everyone. Sorry this one is so short but life did its usual thing of getting in the way. Especially since I'm in the middle of job hunting at the moment. Plus right as I had hit writing the super emotional part of this chapter I ended up in the ER with severe chest pains from a sinus infection that was just on the verge of turning into pneumonia or bronchitis. Also Doffy in this story is supposed to be yandere but after this I think I'm going to avoid yandere stories for a bit. So if anyone requests one this is my apology in advance. In the meantime this unedited chapter was requested by BrianneStyons and I hope it meets your standards. If not then please tell me how I may improve in the comments.~

It was a sunny day and three children were sitting on the edge of a ship, fishing and talking about whatever mischief and adventures they had planned. Suddenly the one girl of the trio after raising her head mid-laugh stopped and squinted at something in the sky. As the object grew closer she stood up on the railing and pointed it out to her two companions. Pretty soon all three children saw it and were making a commotion. A large man in a pink feathery coat came up from below deck to see what all the noise was about. The girl immediately came up to him, pulling on his coat with one hand while pointing with the other at the mysterious object.

Looking in the direction she is pointing he squints behind his sunglasses at the same object that the children had also spotted. His eyes then widened as the object became clearer. It wasn't an object but rather a person, a girl to be more precise. The rays of the setting sun behind her making a perfect blood colored halo as she descended toward them.

After a moment of stunned silence he leaped into action and using his devil fruit powers created a net to catch the girl before she could collide head first into the ship. Then he used haki to reach the net halfway before carrying the girl down to the ship's deck. Once there he was bombarded by the children asking questions and crowding around his feet until another man who wore clown like make up and wore a dark feather coat that was similar to his own herded them away silently.

~A year later~

You had finally managed to escape Doffy. Over the year you had spent with his crew you found that you couldn't stand being cooped up for even a moment longer. Doffy had taken a strangely obsessive interest in you after you fell into this world and would keep you close at all times possible. He even referred to you as his 'angel'. So when the time finally arrived, you assisted Corazon in escaping the crew to find a cure for Law. It broke your heart to leave the other children behind but unless you were willing to wait out the years until Luffy got to Dressrosa, this was your only chance. Knowing Doffy's past you couldn't entirely blame the man for being more than a little messed up in the head, but that didn't mean you would want to be around him at almost all hours of the day.

At the moment you and the two boys were camping out, as young Law slept you were having a meaningful conversation with Corazon. After a full year of his silence it was nice hearing him speak. But you knew what was to happen soon. And you wanted to try and save him if at all possible. Mainly you were holding onto the slightest hope that through your own interference, a tiny part of Doffy that could still be considered human would keep him from killing his own brother.

Then it came. You were running through the snow trying to find them and cursing the cold and wet snow for slowing you down. The first sign you received when you got close being the mixed smell of blood and gunpowder. No, no, no! You hoped you weren't too late.

Doffy's men were lined up with Doffy himself slowly approaching the injured Corazon. But you were too far away to do anything and by the time you got within their sight Doffy and Corazon were standing and pointing pistols at each other. The last thing you heard before the gun went off was from Corazon. "HE IS FREE!!"

Your ears were ringing. The sight before you in the snow left you unable to even scream as the shock of it all settled in. Slumping in the snow over the bloody body of your friend as tears streamed down your face, you barely noticed when Doffy picked you up and started to carry you away from the scene. By the time you finally reached the ship you had started to curl up into yourself and sob. Doffy tried to be comforting as he held you whispering in your ear, "Hush Angel. You'll be home soon." Your emotions apparently proved a good distraction as Law crawled out of his hiding place and escaped. Vowing to one day get vengeance on Doffy and free you from your cage.
