Hadley's POV

After being on the brim of tears all night, I finally just excused myself to go to bed, and cried myself to sleep. I couldn't live with the guilt that probably millions of girls hated me because I broke up their favourite band. I could still hear people talking downstairs until almost two a.m., but I decided to stay put in my bed. I didn't want to feel anymore guilt than I already have. At about two-thirty I heard the door slam and a bunch of feet pattering up the stairs. As the door swung open to the bedroom I was in, I quickly squeezed my eyes shut and prayed the person wouldn't see the tear streaks covering my face.

"WELL GOOD NIGHT GUYS!" A voice screamed. Not daring to open my eyes, I just thought of something else as I felt the bed scoop down as the person took his place beside me. Breathing heavily, I forced myself to sleep, and maybe I'd get a look at the person in the morning.

When I awoke the next morning, sure enough, there was a sleeping body next to me, who I could identify as the loud one with bright hair- Michael. Me and him have gotten along extremely well since I've came here, and I've had no issues or concerns with him, so I just rolled over and my heavy eyes shut once again.

"Psst... Hadley... Hadley... Hey..." I could feel somebody poking my shoulder and I groaned. Turning over I could see Michael and a grumpy Ashton.

"YOU'RE AWAKE!" Michael enveloped me in a hug and I just sat tiredly.

"Michael stop it. She's half awake." Ashton grumped. Michael immediately let go and I just slumped back into the couch, not wanting to deal with anyone today.

"Hadley do you want some fruit?" My ears perked up at the mention of fruit. I loved fruit. Slowly sitting up I glared at Michael.

"What kind of fruit?" I was getting a little bit less moody and a lot more hungry and friendly. Michael and Ashton just laughed.

"We have bananas."

"And strawberries."

"Watermelon,"

"Oranges."

"Ooh we have nectarines!"

"And apples..."

"And we even have kiwis!" I was already up and bolting downstairs at the sound of the word 'watermelon'. When I rounded the corner, Luke was just coming out of the kitchen and we collided. Both falling to the floor, me on top of him, we were both in a fit of giggles.

"Hadley are you okay?" Ashton came running into the kitchen and helped me up, leaving Luke on the floor.

"Thanks for your help, Ashton." Luke glared at Ashton, and Ash repeated the favour.

"Hey guys! Stop fighting or whatever you're doing. We have fruit!" I exclaimed and Michael connected our elbows and smiled at me.

"Yeah! For fruit!" He dragged me into the kitchen with me falling behind him, and this somehow brought back utterly terrible memories.

"Michael, Michael stop." His hands were absent mindly digging into my wrists and I was getting slightly uncomfortable. He immediately paused in his tracks and let go of my hand.

"You okay, Hads?" I briefly nodded and crossed my arms, which just made Michael even more puzzled. He crouched down to look me in the eyes, but I refused to make eye contact.

"Hadley what's wrong?"

"NOTHING!" I shrieked then ran out of the room, clutching my wrists and dashing up the stairs.

"HADLEY WAIT!" I could hear many voices call after me but I ignored them until I was safely locked inside of a room. Walking a little bit closer to the bed, I realized there was still a sleeping body curled up and snoring. It had to be Calum. He never really talked to me, and I couldn't tell if he was shy or he just didn't like me. I decided to stay put inside the room beside the wall, where Calum would have a rare chance of seeing me if his eyes opened. Luke, Michael and Ashton were yelling at me to open the door, but I guess Calum thought they were yelling at him to open the door, not a mysterious girl.

"WOULD YOU SHUT UP I'M TRYNA SLEEP IN HERE!" He shrieked, making my head flick to the left to see the still sleepy boy sitting up with his messy haiir tousled every which way.

"Oh, hi, Hadley. Sorry." His cheeks flushed and he looked away, making me become even more worried.

"It's okay." I tried to speak loudly and confidently, trying to tell him I wasn't a bad guy.

"Why they bangin' on the door so early?" He rubbed his sleepy eyes and plopped back down onto the bed. I bit my lip, but didn't talk.

"And why are you locked in my room?" Calum chuckled, but I could tell it was a question he wanted answered.

"Uh... Hide and seek?" I had a hint of un-certainty in my voice and my voice cracked, making Calum raise his eyebrow.

"Really?" I nodded my head as he smirked and got up out of his bed and clicked the door unlocked, making three grown boys tumble in, half landing on me and the other just crashing to the ground.

"MICHAEL GET OFF MY BUTT!" I screamed making everyone burst into laughter. I sat up and scowled at everyone, not really remembering why I had locked myself in Calum's room anyway.

"Hadley you need to talk to us, why'd you freak out earlier?" Michael spoke with a soft voice and I just sighed.

"Just bad memories." I huffed and Michael patted my shoulder.

"I'm sorry Hads." Without warning, Michael pulled me into a hug, and his arms wrapped fully around my body, making me feel welcome and at home.

"It's okay. It wasn't your fault, you didn't know." Calum just stood with question wavering his face and I stood up.

"Okay but now I really am hungry. Fruit?" I looked at Ashton, who was sulking in the corner.

"Ashy what's wrong?" Luke spoke up before I could even lift a finger.

"Nothing." Now it was Ashton's turn to storm out of the room and slammed the door to another. Luke groaned.

"I'll be back." And with a wave, he disappeared, leaving me, Michael and Calum.

"Welll, fruit it is."
