I don't know how.

But there was alcohol in those strawberries. There were—

My thoughts slur together as I heavily fall on Jungkook, who looks focused enough to prevent me from smacking my head into the glass coffee table. A look of horror decorates his face as he realizes this fact as well.

"Nnooona—" He slurs, his fingers desperately gripping around the end of the couch. "I-I think you— and me is drunk. But strawberries!"

I'm too dizzy and too out of it to translate what he's saying next, my mind spinning and the tips of my fingers trembling violently. The air shifts from cold to hot and then cold again as I let all my weight slump into Jungkook's side.

"Watch you," He murmurs, his hand slipping from the armrest along with his mental state. "V hyung.. going to..."

"What?" I laugh, all because of a sudden burst of happiness. I can do whatever I want— who cared about restrictions? There were no rules here.

Gripping his hand, I dance across the living room— nearly twisting my ankle as I collapse sideways. The plush beanbag that crumples under my body only makes me giggle further as I see him burst into a similar fit of laughter.

"Aren't we supposed to be doing something?" Jungkook asks, his brows furrowed but his voice completely high from the alcohol. "I don't know— Jin hyung—"

"Like what?" I ask, wheezing breathlessly as I collapse heavily onto the ground. I have no memory of whatever I'm doing— I wasn't even aware of myself, or my surroundings.

But who cared? Certainly not me.

An excited squeal escapes my lips as I tackle Jungkook, bursting into a ball of laughter when I see his shocked expression.

Wow.

I feel really high.

Another light sound leaves my throat as I roll back on the ground, eyes drifting with no ability to properly focus. Besides me, I see Jungkook follow my example.

All of a sudden, the adrenaline and energy that had coursed through my body leaves in a flash. My head suddenly feels heavy and weighted down as I close my eyes, unable to resist the thick sleep that drags down on my eyelids.

"Noona!"

Jungkook's sudden, urgent shout snaps me from my daze, and I force myself up from the ground to look for him. His voice had sounded dangerously scared— like he had been frightened somehow.

"Are you alriggdjjfjft?"

My words are blended together to the point where even I can't decipher what I said. Jungkook's eyes are more alert than before, in stark contrast to mine. Mine was blurring further with every passing second.

Gosh.

I'm a very light drinker.

"No, Noona." His voice sounds more clearer and sharper in my ears as he shakes my shoulders frantically. "Please don't die— please. Don't close your eyes. You're scaring me."

Laughing, I grip his hand and give him a weak squeeze. Even my brain didn't have enough wakefulness to find its way to the rest of my body.

"I'll be fine." I reassure him, my eyelids already closing despite his rough shouts. "I just need a short nap, that's all. Just give me five or ten minutes, okay?"

"No, no, no!" Jungkook yells, his eyes wide and filled with terror. He shakes me so hard that my breath rocks inside my lungs.

"I'm gonna be fine. Don't worry."
