This one is really short and I am really sorry about that oof
Madison Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Chapter 21: The End?
That's about it, actually. Harry and I finally defeated Voldemort. Unfortunately, there were many people who were injured, but there was also many people who lived.
Harry and I had gone up to the Gryffindor Common room one last time. Ron and Hermione trailed behind us, their hands intertwined. The portrait of the Fat Lady swung open, not even asking for a password, even though I knew it anyways. Even she was in a joyous mood.
Once we sat down on the couches, the ones that the four of us had sat it for many years, Harry took his broken wand out of his pocket and set it on the table.
"You had that bloody wand in your pocket the entire time?" I asked him. "How is it still in two pieces?"
Harry shrugged. "I don't know, but I think I know—"
"How to fix it?" I cut him off.
"Yes."
"But it can't be saved, Harry, I tried it," Hermione said, lifting her head from Ron's chest.
"Well Hermione, if there's something that I have learned over the years, it's that anything is possible, especially with these two around," Ron replied.
"Madison, will you do the honors?" Harry grinned.
"Of course," I smiled.
I took the Elder Wand out of my pocket and pointed at Harry's broken wand.
"Reparo!"
Red sparks flew out of Harry's wand and it was whole again. He picked it up and it seemed as if the wand relaxed in his grip, glad that it was finally reunited with its master.
"Can I see it?" Harry asked.
I nodded and handed it to him. We looked each other in the eyes, green matching green. I knew what he was going to do with the Elder Wand, and just so he could have my confirmation, I gave him an enthusiastic nod.
Harry took the Elder Wand between his two hands and snapped it in half.
Hermione looked aghast at the fact that he had just broken a wand on purpose and that I had given him an okay to do it. Ron chuckled at his girlfriend— I mean I'm assuming he and Hermione are boyfriend and girlfriend now— and then looked at the two of us.
"That wand is so much more trouble than it's actually worth," Harry said.
I smiled and continued, "And trust us, we've had enough trouble for a lifetime."
And that's it folks. That's the end of book 7! Since I am a person who has trouble letting go of things, I am going to upload the first chapter of the next book, Madison Potter: After the War, and make it available for you guys to read.
Thank you for sticking with me through this, but I can't be saying that just yet, because this isn't the end. Not yet.
See you all in the next book!
