spring showers (asanoya)

Noya POV

I threw my bag onto the tile as I threw back the shower curtain. I sighed as I turned on the shower. As the water steadily pounded behind me I took off my clothes and got in. The heat felt good on my sore muscles as I washed off all the sweat. After rinsing my hair I stepped out and dried off. As I did I heard a rumble from outside, it was thunder and soon rain started pouring down. I slowly slipped into some basketball shorts and an oversized t shirt before leaving the bathroom. As I went into the living room the front door opened and In came Asahi. He took off his coat and shut his umbrella before coming over to me with a bag. 

"Welcome home" I said cheerfully as I went over to him. When I got close he bent down and I  gave him a kiss on the cheek. He smiled and reached in the bag before pulling out a melon popsicle.

" I thought you might want one so after practice I stopped to get one" he said sweetly. I smiled with a small blush on my cheeks as I gave him a tight hug.

"Thanks so much it's my absolute favorite" I said before remembering 

" oh I also heated some water for your tea it must have been cold when it started to rain so I thought it'd be good for you to have some" I said lovingly. He ran his hand through my hair as he walked to the kitchen 

" thank you for thinking of me" he said. 

I just mouthed of course before opening my popsicle and sitting on the couch.

Asahi POV

I opened the cabinet and got out my favorite maroon mug. I ripped open the package of green tea and put two spoon fulls into my cup. After I poured the water I took a spoon and stirred it as I walked back to Noya. He smiled and moved over as I sat down next to him. The rain was still pouring outside and the thunder was only getting louder. I noticed Noya's hair was still wet so I decided to ask

" can I dry your hair? it's still wet is all and I mean" as I rambled noya cut me off

"Yes you can dry my hair" he said with a giggle as he turned his back to me. As I took the towel and started gently drying his hair he chuckled 

" you know we've been together a year, why are you so nervous with me still?" He said.

I blushed because there really wasn't a reason. I loved him and I was comfortable, we spent good and bad moments together but I still just couldn't seem to fully relax. Maybe it was because every time I saw him walk through the door or walk in to practice it was like the first time all over again. 

" I think it just because seeing you is indescribable for me.." I said my voice trailing as I massaged his scalp. I felt him tense and I looked to see him blushing.

" oh I see well...I guess me to...maybe...kinda" he said and I scoffed happily as he started to ramble to.

" I guess were both caught up in emotions" I said as I finsished drying his hair.

Noya POV

 I laughed quietly before saying

" who knows...Let's just enjoy the spring showers for now"
