Part V

My parents then left knowing they had lost the fight and were worried about what I would do. I turned back to the Inquisitor saying "sorry about tonight uh I got Bull a little drunk and we had some fun messing with the families." Cullen laughed saying "It's alright that broke up the nerving conversation about who's family was better before they started a fight. I smiled before turning back to bull saying "let's go back to the game I need to finish this." He tossed his head back laughing again before shouting "Your on!" We left into the tavern as the inquisitor said "what have we done." Cullen laughed again saying "come on let's go find Josephine and Liliana they should know what has gone on." Cullen and the inquisitor went back inside ending the party a few minutes short as me and Bull went back to drinking at the bar laughing about none sense. The next morning I work up next to bull as we had apparently passed out at the bar before I got up and walked outside into the cool morning air. I saw the Inquisitor and walked over waving hi as he turned to me and smiled saying "long night?" I nodded my head rubbing my shoulder that was throbbing because of how I slept on it. "So what do you want me to do here anyways? I have no job really and no reason to do anything." He thought about it for a minute saying "you can always help Josephine with politics or the healers with the soldiers." I glared at him crossing my arms saying "What type of person do you think I am Inquisitor?! I left my household so I wouldn't deal with that stuff, can't I help Cullen command troops or Liliana spy? I know how to fight better then most of the people here I can prove that." The Inquisitor looked a little annoyed before saying "Ok fine if you can beat me in a sword fight then I'll let you pick what you wish to do here if you don't however you will help Josephine with the royals families." On one had I did want to pick what I did so I wouldn't deal with more politics but at the same time did I really want to train soldier how to fight just so they could die later? "Fine I accept your challenge Inquisitor but go easy on me I don't often fight tough men." He smiled and lead me to a small training ring in the middle of the yard were he tossed me a sword. We circled each other before the Inquisitor struck the first blow that I barley blocked, I turned around stabbing at him missing slightly. We both continued to circle as people gathered around watching as we both continued striking and dodging. I backed up a bit before I tripped on a piece of wood letting the Inquisitor cut me cheek deeply as I fell. He held the sword to my neck saying "looks like I win because no matter what you so I could kill you." I glared at him before lightning my face up with a grin as I stuck out my arm letting my necklace turn into a snake that I tossed at him. He yelled and dropped the sword falling to the ground pulling it off as I stood up and grabbed both weapons. The snake was thrown to the ground before slithering up my leg and onto my arm still hissing at him. "Your dead." was all I said before setting down the swords and helping him up. "Fair fight I didn't know you could do that on command and thanks for not letting the snake bite me." I nodded saying back "well looks like I win can I choose now or would you like a rematch." He smiled saying "rematch?" We both picked up swords and started to circle each other again before the snake I was holding lunges at him and he beheaded it changing it into jewelry again. "Wow I see Inquisitor to scared of a little snake." He shook his head and laughed before stabbing at me that I blocked again. A few minutes passed of this going on before I saw Liliana Josephine and Cullen all watching the fight seeing what I was going to do. I then saw a man holding a wood carving of a horse I grinned saying "how much does it hurt to be kicked in the chest by a horse Inquisitor?" He cocked his head not understanding what I meant until I dropped my sword and changed it into a life size horse that ran at him as he backed up quickly. It turned and kicked him in the chest sending him backwards into the wood post with people laughing and gasping at what I did. Even I was on the ground laughing my head off as the inquisitor got up groaning in pain lucky for him his armor took most of the blow. The horse tossed its head as I stood up and stroked its face saying "what a good animal you are." People cleared out after that as I helped the Inquisitor up saying "would you like a rematch?" He smiled painfully before shaking his head "No thanks Miss (L/n) I have had enough and you can pick your position. I'm sorry for thinking you would like to deal with politics." I grinned and walked over to Cullen asking "can I help teach soldiers how to fight commander along side you." He smiled in a charming way before saying "I would be glad to have you help lady (Y/n)." I smiled and took my leave with Cullen as the few people left went back to work, I enjoyed the fight as I felt like I finally belonged somewhere working with people who understood me.
