Dirty Lies// Cullen x reader

Part IX

I looked at him feeling worry strike me before he said "wow that's strong but it's completely normal." I turned my head saying "is it not supposed to be normal?" He glanced at Liliana to help him as she said "just ignore him he doesn't drink much." I nodded my head knowing that they had found out something about my red lyrium intake. I was very relieved tho that Cullens normal lyrium over took the red one making it impossible to taste. "Well I'm going to head to sleep for the night that's for the game." I grabbed the bottle and left the room in silence down to the gardens and finally into my room where I looked through all my stuff find the jar of red lyrium gone. I sighed knowing that they had found it and where testing me but I couldn't just tell them that I was taking it. They would surly kill me because of what it did to the other soldiers and people that had it but it never affected me like that. It only gave me power and strength as my mind was clear from corruption and other things that might change me into a threat. Back at the room Cullen said "Nothing it was completely normal." Liliana slapped him saying "nice job now she might suspect something!" The Inquisitor ignored both of them before saying "we need something else like more proof that she uses it. I honestly think it's not her tho that's using it she might have it for someone else." They continued talking about if for a little bit before the Inquisitor looked out the window seeing me leaving the castle. The three of them watched as I tossed a small wood carving onto the ground that I changed into a large black panther and I climbed on. It took off jumping over the wall and disappearing into the darkness with me leaving thinking everyone had gone to sleep. "Follow her Liliana find out where she is going, quickly!" Liliana ran down the stairs and into the castle trying to send a spy after me. I was at the storm coast where I went inside the large cave and walked over to a large vein of red lyrium that was protruding from the stone. I broke off a piece and put it into the jar I had brought before quickly getting out of the cave and heading back to skyhold. On my way I saw an Inquisition spy that was following me tho I did nothing about it and pretended like he wasn't there. I got back to skyhold and went inside quietly and up to my room before turning my panther into a carving again storing it away in my robes. I crushed it into smaller shards and put them in a different bottle of whisky before taking a sip and closing it. I then fell asleep like nothing had ever happened wile the spy reported back to Liliana saying he saw nothing strange. She then told the Inquisitor along with Cullen that they would need to come up with a different plan. I found it a bit funny that they hadn't even found out one secret but they were on the right path at least. The next morning came around slowly and I woke up looking out the window seeing the sunrise. I got out of bed changing my clothes before walking outside and playing a prank on bull who was standing in the open area. "Hey bull can you hold this iron block?" I handed him a small block or iron as he asked "Uh why? What are you planning now (Y/n)?" I stood back before taking out a small gemstone carved into a bull before tossing it to the ground saying "let's see if you can live up to your name bull." I changed it into a real animal and it charged at at making him drop the block of iron to take the impact of it. "Hey bull you need to hold the iron!" He grunted before grabbing it and slamming his horns against the bulls. I was laughing at this until I felt a hand on my shoulder saying "can we talk (Y/n) it's uh important." Cullen stuttered as he saw Ironbull fight a real animal that was a fair fight. "Come on bull you have horns use them correctly! Kill the animals it won't do anything!" Bull grunted again saying "Why do I need to hold this stupid brick of iron it's not a fair fight!" I just ignored the comment as the bull struck again before Ironbull used his horns to jab it into the side kill the animal. It changed back into a gemstone and he tossed it to me saying "Haha that was easy nice try." I nodded as I turned back to Cullen saying "sorry about that I guess I can talk for a few minutes with you." He lead me over to his office before sitting down saying "So uh I know you might hate me after this but I need to check something real quick." I looked at him in confusion before he walked over to me saying "sorry Miss (L/n)" he took a small piece of lyrium and touched it to my skin as I screamed in pain falling to the ground. He pulled his hand away before saying "I knew it, Inquisitor!" The Inquisitor climbed down the ladder and stood in front of me saying "you have a lot of explaining to do or I will kill you for lying." Cullen picked me up and set me in the chair getting a cloth of elf root and placing it to my skin where the lyrium had been. I slapped his hand away glaring at him before saying "don't touch me!" He backed away slowly a bit hurt from my tone before the Inquisitor said "talk now or else" I groaned and started talking.
