Caleb's POV

5 Year's Later

After making the tough decision of leaving my parents to live with my grandma I started my own business and became moderately successful. And I had my twin sons who are named Sullivan and Markus.

"Daddy we hungry," Sullivan said pulling on the bottom of my shirt.

"Okay bubba the food just finished and where is your baby brother at," I said picking him up and putting the stove on simmer

"He's inside the playroom daddy," he said putting his head on my shoulder

"Bunny," I said walking towards their playroom

"Yes daddy," Markus said running coming towards me

"Markus Luther Knight what did I say about running inside the house you could seriously get hurt," I sternly stated

"I'm swrry dada," he said hugging my leg.

"Aww you are just the cutest," I said pinching his cheeks

"Dada a lispt is nwt cute," he said pouting

"Yes it is baby and come on the food is done," I said adjusting Sullivan then grabbed Markus hand leading us to the kitchen.

"Daddy, " Sullivan asked as I was putting him down in the kitchen chair

"Yes baby," I said fixing our food

"Where is papa?"

"He's not in our lives," I said sitting down at the table after, I put the kids in their chairs

"Well daddy can you tell us about him,"

"Sure baby but after we eat ok," I said then start eating

"Okay," he said happily

"That's why papa's not with us,"

"Dada I'm sleepy," Sullivan said rubbing his eyes

"Then lets go to bed bubba," I said picking them both up and taking them upstairs

"Go pick out which pj's you want to wear while I go start your bath," I said going into the bathroom

"Wth bubsis tw?" Markus asked me

"yes bunny always," I said smiling

"Daddy tomorrow can we all get the same onesies," Sullivan asked scooting closer to me in bed

"Of course baby now go to sleep," I said playing with him and his brother's hair

"Okay daddy and can I get some milk?" he asked then I went downstairs to get their premade milk bottles one cold and the other warm

"Thanks, Night night daddy," Sullivan said when I came back with the sippy cup

"U welcome goodnight baby-boy, "I whispered

25 minutes

As I was just closing my eyes about to fall asleep I heard doors being slammed and things breaking so I gently woke both of them. While looking between them and the closed room door

"Da-" before Markus could finish his sentence I put my hand over his mouth and his brother's

"Shh," I whispered making them nod their heads

"Now listen closely baby's we're going to the play game I taught you called silent lamb," I whispered causing them to nod their heads

"So remember what you do is hide and try to be quiet as possible so hide in our secret spot now okay," I gently whispered to them causing them to nod again

"Go now," I whispered watching them go inside the closet. After they went inside the closet, I locked the rooms double locks. Then grabbed a bat and went to our secret spot.

"Caleb I know your in here," I heard someone yelled. Making Sullivan and Markus put their hands over their mouths

"Good job," I whispered to them while rubbing their heads

"Caleb open the door I know you're in there," someone yelled while shaking the door rapidly

"Shh babies daddy's got you don't cry remember the game silent lamb," I whispered while whipping their eyes then putting a blanket over us giving them comfort, and scooted back further into their hideaway. After they stopped moving the room door busted open along with a 'thump' sound from the door hitting the ground.

"Caleb come out that closet," somebody said sternly. Causing me to pull my kids closer to me in fear and worry.

"Caleb either you open the door willing or we open the door by force, "

Somebody yelled getting closer to the closet door.

"Caleb I know you're in here because we checked this whole place and I even have men posted outside," he said

"Stay here," I gently whispered into their ears than I crawled out from where we were hiding

"What are you doing here Shawn you're not suppose to know about this place,"

"You can't keep a secret for nothing can you," he chuckled

"What do you mean I can't keep a secret?" I questioned him

"I know you had my kids," He said smirking at me causing me to sigh

"Come here," I said directed to my kids then they came crawling out and went to me

"This here is your ever loving father the one I told you about" I forced out glaring at the man who use to be the live of my life.

"Take the kids and knock him out"

Then after he left out the room the men walked towards us with straight faces.

"Lets go"

"No your not taking my kids" I stated holding in to them tightly. After I said that they didn't talk anymore and snatched my kids away from me.

"Give me back my kids" I yelled trying to reach for them but before I could two men grabbed me and stuck a needle in my neck. And the last thing I saw was my kids being carried out the room screaming and crying before I blacked out.
