I am definitely not prepared to start classes. Monday came entirely too fast. I woke up early enough to make myself presentable and now I'm headed to get some breakfast with Josie. She was missing in action most of the weekend so I used my time exploring the campus so I wouldn't be completely lost on the first day.

We meet up with Billie outside of the cafeteria and Josie fills us in on her night, or shall I say nights, with the guy she met at the party. Even though she's a little wild, I like her confidence. The two of them carry on the conversation without me while I text my friends in a group message to ask them how everything is going. I honestly don't feel as bad or lonely as I thought I would which is probably because Josie has been so friendly.

I'm so engulfed in sending funny gifs to my friends that I don't notice Josie leave for class.

"Earth to Alissa. Hello," Billie says causing me to look up. "Do you want to just hang here until class starts or do you have something else to do?"

I look at the time and realize I still have thirty minutes before my first class. "I'm fine with staying here."

"Then I'll take that," she says snatching my phone away and putting it in her pocket.

"That's so childish," I pout.

"If we're going to sit here you have to at least talk to me. Who were you just texting?"

"My best friends. They were filling me in on their college experience so far."

"Probably just as crappy as yours huh?" she says as she opens her third breakfast burrito.

"Pretty much. They also are taking bets on if I get a boyfriend or not this semester," I roll my eyes.

She gives me a weird look. "What is it with you girls and finding dick your first week of school?"

"A, I'm not trying to find dick and B, I've never had a boyfriend."

"Wait like never," she asks and I shake my head no. "Have you ever kissed anyone?"

I shake my head once more.

"Woah. You're like a unicorn or something. A virgin in college? These guys are going to eat you alive."

"Is it really that serious?"

"Hell yeah. Most of these girls have fucked enough guys to form a football team. You are a rare treat," she laughs.

"Well, the way you're talking doesn't sound too appealing."

"Do you actually want a boyfriend?"

I think about it briefly. "I guess so. I mean I don't want to die a virgin."

She smirks. "Well then consider me your tour guide to lost virginity. I'm going to get you a kiss, a boyfriend, and some grade A penis."

"Do you have to be so vulgar?"
