Chapter Three

One Week Later.

"My family was full of great people, I never could love anyone as much as I love them they have pieces of me that I could never think to give anyone else, So I thank you family and friends for joining me to show our love for my dearly loved family. Thank you."

At that moment I was officially alone as I watched the dirt cover their caskets. I haven't been to school since I got the news, I have only talked to Courtney because she was apart of my family because her family wasn't so great. She knows my pain and will stay with me not many other people know. After the funeral we went back to the house and I went to bed. Courtney was making me go to school tomorrow so I need rest so I can smile through it.

When I woke up I got out of bed and hit the shower, when I finished I blow dried my hair and put on black skinny jeans aqua flats and a gray lace top and aqua scarf. Courtney came into the room and smiled, "you look great!" I roll my eyes and head outside to my vehicle and jump in an wait for Courtney.

"Are you nervous?" she asks once she's seated.

"Nope I have no reason to be."

She nods and looks out the window the rest of the way we ride in silence. When I pull in to my parking spot Daniel is there waiting with a smile on his face. I open my door and get out.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

"I've waited here everyday for the past week," Oh? he walks over to me and wraps me in his arms and kisses the top of my head.

"Phyre?"

"Ya?"

"Would you like to be my girlfriend" my heart stopped I swear for thirty seconds.

"I would love that." I smiled up at him and planted a kiss on his lips. It made me forget, made me feel normal again like nothing changed. Courtney cleared her throat and pointed at the time on her phone. Oh whoops! Daniel grabbed my hand and we headed inside. Courtney had to head in the other direction as usual so Daniel and I walked hand in hand to home room. When we reached the door he stopped and wrapped me in his arms and gave me little kisses all over my face causing me to giggle like a little girl, "what are you doing?" I smiled up at him, "I'm giving my lady all the kisses I wanted to give her the moment I laid eyes on her." My body felt light and giddy. I pulled his face down to mine and gave him a small light kiss just as the bell rang. We started laughing then headed into the class, Mr.Cruz called Daniel to the front to get some assignments. When I sat in my desk I instantly felt alone and tears welled up in my eyes. I felt a hand on my shoulder so I blinked my tears away and looked up into Daniels eyes.

"Hey."

"Are you ok?" I nod and take his hand and it felt like an nice tingling shock. I looked into his eyes and smiled something about him was making me forget and making me feel normal.

When the lunch bell rang I led Daniel to my truck. I leaned my back against the door and pulled him towards me wrapping my arms around his neck I pulled his face to mine and kissed him with all the passion and love I feel for him. When we pulled apart we had to catch our breathe.

"What do you say we skip the rest of the day?" I smiled up at him.

"If you really want to."

I gave him a quick smooch, "meet me at my place." He nodded and headed to his car, and I jumped into my truck and headed home. My body tingled with excitement the closer I got to the house. When I pulled into the driveway I was extremely giddy and happy, this was going to be the most special day of my life. Daniel wasn't here yet so I headed inside. I found some candles in the closet and went to my room and placed them on every surface then I changed into some of my better undies and matching bra. And then threw on his sweater, then went back downstairs. I just filled up a glass of water when there was a knock on the door, I practically skipped to the door. When I got to the door I threw it open to find my handsome boyfriend with a bouquet of red roses.

"Hey,"

"Hi." I smiled up at him and took his hand pulling him inside then I shut the door. He handed me the flowers and we went into the kitchen to put them in a vase.

"So, you wanna head upstairs?" I bit my lip and looked up at him. He leaned down and caught my lip in his and pulled me close. I took his hands and slid them up my legs I shivered at the warmth of his touch. He pulled back, "upstairs now."

His voice was a sexy husky growl as he took my hand and headed to my room. when we were in my room he closed the door then slowly walked towards me. I pulled his shirt off slowly an teasingly. He practically ripped the sweater off me and let out a sexy growl, then bent down and kissed my neck as I removed his jeans.

And that's the night I believed in love. And are bodies connected in so many different ways.
