28. You are fine....

It was morning and the streets was filled with people burning crackers. Enjoying with their family and spending spreading joy and happiness.

Sanskaar came in wearing a normal suit and saw caroline draped in a saree.

"Hello mam." Sanskaar came in with a pleasant smile.

"Happy Diwali beta." Caroline fed him some sweet while sanskaar too fed her.

"Happy Diwali." Sanskaar smiled.

Caroline caressed his hairs and went to the in-house. For a second sanskaar's mind flashed his mother. He dearly miss his mother much.

"Sanskaar" Caroline's voice brought him back to his sense.

"Ha..." Sanskaar looked at her.

"Today is Diwali and do you look what you are wearing?" Caroline's one eyebrows shot up seeing him in a normal shirt and pant.

"Mm... That's fine mam." Sanskaar looked away.

While his mind flashed some moments.

"Maa...." Sanskaar came hugged his mother from back.

"My son has come." Ap beamed with joy.

"Yes... Maa now feed me the sweet you made, you know how much I'm waiting just for it." Sanskaar loves his mother's hand made sweets.

He came forward his hands reached the bowl and a slap landed on his hand.

"Ouch...maa." sanskaar winced like a 5 year old kid.

"Today is Diwali and look at the way you dressed." Ap glared seeing him in his normal shirt with leather jacket and a black jeans on.

"Maa i don't want to wear them they look so heavy." Sanskaar made faces.

"I know you would complain." Ap shook her head.

"And that's why I brought you another suit of your choice." She continued making him smile brightly.

"Aww... That's so sweet of you maa." Sanskaar hugged his maa again.

"Okay fine now go and change it or else I won't give you your kheer." Ap said while sanskaar shook his head in acceptance and left to change........

"Swara are you coming or not?" Olivia's voice broke his thoughts away.

He immediately wiped his tears from the corner of his eyes.

"Aww... Olivia this red lehanga looks great on you." Caroline complimented.

"Thanks mam and that's swara's choice." Olivia said and looked again at the stairs.

"Hey." Evan sat beside sanskaar.

"You look great on this outfit man." Sanskaar smiled while Evan too smiled.

"What's wrong with her?" Evan asked seeing at Olivia.

"She's waiting for sw... her friend." Sanskaar said while Evan nodded.

Olivia pulled swara while swara made faces.

"Smile doesn't make you look ugly." Olivia looked at swara while swara smiled.

Sanskaar looked up the stairs and his heart skipped a breath. She was all dressed with a simple royal blue suit and her hairs were braided in fishtail. Blue has always been his favorite color and she choosing it to wear somewhat brought a hope in him.
He felt very happy as she was wearing something else apart from formals and dark suits. Simple yet elegant that's what he would say.
