31. I had no intentions to hurt her....

"Mom...." This was the only thing swara would whisper seeing caroline there looking at her.

Caroline was shocked beyond words that would explain her emotions knowing the truth. Caroline dragged swara with her to her room and locked the door.

While swara stood numb she couldn't accept the truth that her mom has heard everything.

Caroline held swara's arms harshly with glassy eyes.

"Were you engaged with sanskaar? Was he that Maheshwari's son?" Caroline couldn't believe. Her most favorite student was actually behind this?!

Caroline knew that swara was engaged but she couldn't attend the function as she was in Paris working. Caroline knows that swara loved that man but she never knew that her favorite student had been....

"I'm asking you swara." Caroline shook her while swara closed her eyes tightly letting her tears to scroll down again.

"Ye.... Yes." Swara admitted and as a result she was given a tight slap.

"Why swara? Why did you do this? I never asked you what happened that night, did I? Why haven't you told me that it was him?." Caroline couldn't even imagine how she survived having him in front of him hiding every pain of hers.

Swara cried more, she knew caroline has never even asked even once about that time and who it was.

"I... He had been your favorite student how do you suppose me to tell that he---" Swara closed her eyes biting her lip as her voice betrayed her from speaking.

"My favorite student? Seriously swara do you think I will favor him after knowing that he betrayed my daughter?" Caroline yelled at swara.

"You had always been in pain mom, I don't want to increase them." Swara looked down.

"What about you?" Her voice calmed down and held swara softly.

"Even you had been and being in pain and you increased the pain having him around in front of your eyes. Is this more than I had been through swara?" Caroline too cried.

"I'm sorry mom." Swara sobbed.

"I'm not going to leave him swara. Even though he had been with you can't he get to know how fragile you were? How could he betray you?" Caroline was damn angry on sanskaar. She needs answers from him.

"Mom please don't...." And Caroline stormed out as swara expected.

"No she can't do this.. Mom" swara ran behind Caroline shouting to stop.

"You can't stop me today swara." Caroline reached sanskaar's room and slammed the door hard.

Swara sobbed softly.

This is what she feared of when sanskaar started entering their house and it happened....

"Mam...." Before he would even speak he got a hard tight slap on cheek.

He was shocked he didn't understand what happened that his mam was hitting him.

"Mam, what did I do that---"

"Shut up! Just shut up Sanskaar Maheshwari. If I had ever knew that you was a Maheshwari then I would have never let you inside her life. Why did you do this to her?" Caroline felt anger burning her soul.

And his heart completely froze..... She got to know everything about them.

"Why sanskaar? Why? Why did you do this to her? I feel ashamed to call you as my favorite student now. You made her life no less than a living hell. I never knew you would do this to her sanskaar? You had faked love and everything. You betrayed her! How would you do this even after seeing her in whole? You destroyed a pure soul." Caroline pulled his through his collar and shook him taking out all his anger.
