let's meet again tonight
I will rest my head on your shoulder
or you'll simply play with the strands of my hair
while I'm pretending to be asleep
as I lay in your arms
I will listen to your stories
about how your day has been
I will offer you a cup of coffee
and we will laugh at how I steal the cherry
on the top your cake
you will smile at me
that breathtaking smile of yours
you will kiss my forehead
and tell me to close my eyes and sleep
you will hold my hand
and with the darkness as our witness
I will promise
that we'll see each other again tomorrow
I will love you again
as though I also belong to a fiction
or you belong to the real world- Jan Di
