"That Idea"

You were that idea
I was able to draw in my head.

You could've been my poetry
if I had only written you down.
You were a masterpiece
that I left at the back of my mind

thinking that I'd just remember you
if I already had time.

You were that idea
I was able to draw in my head.

that unborn poetry
that I'd lost but could not forget
You were a poem
that I wasn't anymore allowed to form

because someone already wrote you
and I'd be a plagiarist if I'd still try to.
