The Unwanted Payne

A London Escape?

What would you do if you were dying of kidney disease and you thought the only person who could save you, can't. What would you do if you found out you're whole life was a fake and the only person who wanted you, lied to you everyday. Imagine this then add the fact that your twin brother is Leo Payne. I had to digest this while on a 17-hour plane ride to London, so I can meet my real family. Kidney problems apparently ran in my family and my sisters had already offered a kidney. I didn't dare think to ask Leo with his past problems. Actually I didn't ask Rachel and Naomi, they offered.
"We are now about to land, everyone put on your seat belts and put your trays in the up right position." A flight attendant said. I put my seat belt on and looked out the window. All I saw was a gloomy city with people running around like headless chickens. I already missed sunny Tennessee I loved living in Nashville. It's like Hollywood with a touch of twang, haha Jason Aldean lyric. As the plane landed, I rushed off with my canvas backpack. As I walked out of the terminal, I saw a bright green sign with my name on it. A tall brunette guy in a black beanie and sunglasses was holding it. I walked over to the guy with a small frown.
"Trinity Harper? Is that you?" He asked.
"Yes? Are you Leo Pay-"
"Hush! I don't want anyone to know it's me!" Leo hissed as he put a hand over my mouth. I stepped away and frowned more.
"I'm sorry Trinity......... I'm just nervous. I practically stalked your Facebook, Twitter, Wattpad, Quotev and everything else just trying to get to know you."
"That's flattering." I muttered with a blush. "No ones ever done that for me."
"Well you're not just anyone." Leo said as he hugged me.
"Leo can we get going, I have a doctor's appointment at 5." I said as I looked at my watch. 12:00pm, I have 5 hours.
"Come on lil sis." Leo said, he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and guided me to his car. We drove to his 'flat' which was in the same building as the rest of his band. We snuck into the building though the back and went up to his place. It was huge!! There was 3 spare rooms with walk in closets. Mine had a private bathroom and balcony!!!
"Trinity I want you to feel at home here so I asked Arielle and a stylist to come and help you shop. You can go clothes shopping and personalize your room. This is always gonna be your room 'cause I'm hoping you'll visit a lot." Leo said as we entered my bland room.
"Thank you Leo. Could I have some privacy, I wanna change into some nice clothes." I said as I glanced at myself in the mirror. I wore cropped black sweats, running shoes and a gray sweater. I had no make-up and my hair was crap. He nodded and left while shutting the door. I walked over to my a suitcase and pulled out a dress, a jacket, a pair of boots and some jewelery. Then I went to the bathroom and put on some natural looking make-up. I walked out of my room and into the 'lounge' room. The room had 4 strange guys, they were shouting and acting weird.
"Oy! Leo! Who's the gorgeous girl?" A curly brunette shouted then the oldest looking shot him with a Nerf gun.
"You must be Trinity, I'm Zach. That's Lane, Hank and Nash."
"Hi." I muttered as I played with my necklace.
"Trinity! I see you've met the lads. Are you hungry?" Leo asked nervously as he rushed in.
"I could go for a small salad, if that isn't too much to ask."
"You could ask for the world's largest salad and it still wouldn't be a problem." Leo smiled.
"Thank god! I couldn't eat half of my dinner and breakfast."
"Why?" Lane asked.
"I'm a vegetarian, most of the meals were greasy meats."
"Trinity why don't you sit down, I'll make your salad." Leo said. I nodded and sat down in a lazy boy rocker.
"So Trinity how is Nashville?" Nash asked.
"It's awesome! I miss it so much already! I've never lived anywhere else, so it was weird when Leo said that it's my room."
"How long are you staying for?" Hank asked.
"A month or 2, we don't really know yet."
"Have you thought about taking Leo's last name?" Nash asked.
"I haven't thought of that... I could always hyphenate my name, but I'm not sure I should."
"Why?" Nash asked.
"Well my parents didn't want me and everyone's been keeping me a secret."
"Leo wants you. He loves the idea of a baby sister, he's always been the youngest." Zach said.
"Yeah well I've always been the helpful, obedient foster-sister who helped her saint of a mother. That doesn't mean I enjoyed having lots of kids running around my house. Most were ungrateful brats or troublemakers." I muttered.
"Foster kids can't be that bad." Hank said. I took a deep shaky breath and nodded no.
"They are terrible, hollow people." I said as Leo walked in.
"Thank you." I smiled, he went and sat down next to Lane.
"Trinity, I got a call from Arielle and she wants for the 3 of us to go to dinner after your appointment. Is that okay?" Leo asked.
"Leo I would actually like to stay here tonight. Being a vegetarian and terminally ill is very exhausting then add the flight. I'm only going to the appointment because my mom says the sooner the better and she's terrified of losing me." I said and Leo walked over, picked up my fragile body, sat in my seat then placed me on his lap. He nuzzled his face in the crook of my neck.
"She has nothing to worry about because I refuse to lose you. I may have only just met you but you're my clone and now that I know about you and have met you, I know I can't lose you." He mumbled. I hide my face in his chest as tears rolled down my cheeks.
"Leo, why did our parents only give me up? What could have possible been wrong with me?" Leo pulled away and looked at me.
"There isn't anything wrong with you Trinity." Nash said. I looked over at him and blushed. I had forgotten they were there.
"We should watch a movie!" Lane said.
"Yeah!! Let's watch a scary movie!" Zach said.
"No we should watch a comedy!" Nash said.
"I say we watch a Disney movie!" Leo said.
"What about a mystery?" Lane asked.
"Why don't we let Trinity chose?" Hank asked and everyone agreed.
"I would kind of like to watch a Disney movie." I mumbled. Leo smiled as a big as the moon then jumped up and kissed my cheek.
"I have every single movie made!!" He said as he rushed out the door.
"He didn't even ask which movie I wanted." I muttered with a slightly shocked look.
"Yeah that's Leo." Zach laughed.
"I'm HUNGRY!" Nash randomly shouted.
"You always are." Hank said.
"I want food!!!" Nash shouted.
"Here I'll get some snacks." I said as I got up.
"I'll help!" Nash called as he stood up too. We walked to the kitchen and I went to the fridge. Nash went to the cabinets. I grabbed out bunny tracks ice cream, birthday cake ice cream, whip cream, strawberry, chocolate and caramel syrups. I grabbed 6 spoons and a bunch of napkins. Nash grabbed 2 bags of pre-popped popcorn and 4 bags of chips. We walked back to the 'lounge' room and I was smiling like a mad hatter.
"What's so funny?" Hank asked.
"Did Leo call my mom?" I asked.
"No?" He answered.
"Then how did he know these are all my favorite movie snacks?" I asked and everyone laughed.
"Trin, that's all of Leo's favorite snacks." Lane said. My smile softened.
"Really?" I asked. I smiled and sat in the middle of the floor.
"Why didn't you get bowls?" Zach asked.
"Oops! Sorry! Annabeth and I always eats out of the carton." I blushed.
"Hahaha. Who's Annabeth?" Zach asked.
"More importantly, is she hot?" Hank said as Leo walked in with his arms full of DVDs.
"Annabeth is my best friend. She's who I stayed with on the weekdays."
"Huh?" Leo asked.
"We went to a performing arts high school that was an hour away from my farm but Annabeth lived in walking distance. So on weekdays I stayed at her house."
"Your a performer?"
"Yeah." I mumbled.
"What do you do?" Hank asked.
"I act, dance & sing."
"Really?" Leo asked with excitement in his voice.
"She really is a clone. Sing something!" Lane said. I nodded and started to sing Wanted.

"TRINITY!!! ARE YOU READY!?!?!" Leo shouted. I grabbed my purse and jacket and walked out of my room.
"Is this okay?" I asked as I met him in the lounge room. I did a twirl to show him my whole outfit. My brown hair was in a tight bun and the earrings hurt me but I wanted to impress Arielle. Today I was feeling better. Though yesterday after my appointment, I puked.
"Trin, you look gorgeous." Leo said as he hugged me. "Alright we have to pick up Arielle. Let's go!" He pulled away, grabbed his coat and we left. The front of the building was flooded with tons of reporters. The car ride was quiet, except for the radio playing. At the restaurant, we sat in a secluded booth. Which once again proved I'm a secret. Leo told us to order anything. I just order a salad, there weren't many vegetarian friendly meals.
"I guess I should've found a vegetarian restaurant...." Leo trailed off with a small laugh.
"It's okay. Arielle you look amazing." I said with a smile.
"Thank you Trinity. I love your dress!" Arielle said. "And your accent is really cool." I looked at her confused.
"Oh haha my accent... right." I laughed when I realized what she meant. We had a great dinner, but it was cut short when I got light-headed.

When I woke. Leo was gone, all he left was a note.

Dear Trinity,
I had to go into the studio and didn't want to wake you up. I left you a credit card on the counter, it's your own and the pin is on the sticky note. I'll be home by 5.

I sighed and went to take a shower. Afterwards I decided to go out and explore. I put on a plaid shirt, a blue tank top, a pair of skinny jeans, some converse, a beret and my canvas backpack, but I didn't bother with my hair or make-up. I grabbed th- I mean my card, phone and wallet then left. I walked down to the corner newsstand to see if my favorite magazine was there. I found it and gasped loudly.
"Leo Payne and his mystery girl!?" I whispered loudly. There were a few pictures of Leo and I. From the airport, the hospital and leaving for dinner.
'Sixty-Seven Seconds's Leo Payne has been sneaking around with a girl named Trinity Harper. The British sweetheart was first seen with Trinity at the airport. She's from Nashville, Tennessee and is a country cutie. We've seen them go into his apartment where Trinity stays over night. They have gone on a romantic date and to the hospital. My question is what is a young secret couple doing at a routine doctor's office? And why is Leo keeping her a secret?' I stared, gaping at the short article.
"What do they think we're doing!?" I almost shouted.
"Hey! You can't just read this! You have to buy it!" The worker said as she grabbed the magazine. "Oh my gosh! You're the girl! The girl that's been with Leo!!" She gasped as she looked back and forth between the magazine and me.
"Guilty as charged." I muttered shyly.
"Omg how do you know him!? Did you come out here to be with him?"
"Umm kind of..... I'm mainly here to get my kidney transplant."
"You have kidney problems like Leo! You even look like him! (Gasp) Are you related to him!? You are, aren't you!!"
"If I tell you, will you keep it a secret?"
"Yes!!"
"Leo is my twin brother, but our parents put me up for adoption. I only just found out when I was in need of a transplant and the doctor's said my real parents have kids."
"Oh honey! That's a terrible way to find out!" The girl said as she hugged me.
"Thank you." I said as we pulled apart.
"I'm was just about to shut this down and go get some lunch, you wanna come?"
"Sure. But ah what's your name?"
"I'm Renée Glints." She stuck out her hand. I shook it and smiled. She pulled down the window door and we went to a little café across the street.
"So Renée how old are you?"
"I turn 19 in a month."
"That's so cool. I turn 19 soon."
"I know that, I'm a huge 67 sec fan."
"Haha. I forgot about that."
"That I was a fan?"
"No, that I have the same birthday as him."
"Haha, so how's America? I bet it's cool!!"
