"Aaaaand....come in!" a man voice calls. The door opens and a woman steps in with two baby's in her arms.
"This is your home, Malachai and Josette." she coo's to the baby's and Damon and hope exchange a look.
They fast forward the video and see the nursery for the babies. Over each crib there are wood letters spelling out Malachai and Josette. Mr. Parker steps into the screen, standing at one of the cribs and Damon stops the fast forward.
"I can't believe it. Twins already." he says happily and then leans over the blue crib.
"You'll achieve big things." he says and turns to the pink crib.
"You'll be very valuable for this coven." he continues and reaches into the crib to stroke the baby girl.
Damon stops the cassette and pops another on in it.
"Hurry, we'll miss it!" a woman's eager voice breaks though the speakers. There is some shuffling and then the camera is focused on a little toddler on wobblely legs.
"Come on Malachai! I know you can do it!" Kais father cheers on. Baby Kais eyes shift to the camera and his hand reaches out for it. Then one foot lifts of the ground and he takes a step, swaying a bit but he recovers.
"Ahhhhh! O my god we got his first step!" Kais mom says happily
„That's my boy! Don't distract him..." Mr. Paket says proudly.
Damon stops the tape and puts another in, skipping some. The first thing on the little screen is a birthday cake. It says, happy 4th birthday Josette and Malachai! Damon presses fast forward again and there are just a bunch of kids being kids. Then the screen is shaking, like the person recording is running or something. Damon switches off the fast forward and the screaming of a woman and loud crying of a girl breaks the silence. Hope raises an eyebrow at Damon, who simply shrugs.
"What happened?!" the voice of Mr. parker asks, the cam only showing the ground.
"Daddy!!!! Mal hurt me!" She whales.
"What did you do Malachai?! And don't bullshit me mister!" the mother scolds.
"I did nothing! Josie stop lying!" kid Kai defends himself.
"you're lying!" Josette cries.
"young man! You will explain to me what you did to your sister, this instance!" Mr. Parkers Voice booms through the speakers, making Hope flinch. The camera is placed on top of something so it shows the family now in an sideway angle.
"Dad! I'm telling you, I only touched her hand! I swear!"
"okay I've had enough! Time out for you mister." the mother says and grabs his arm. Kid Kai grabs her wrist to pry it off and she cries out in pain. The familiar glow is seen on his hand and the mother goes down on her knees.
"Oh god." Mr. Parker says and pushes Kai off who then roughly falls against the wall. Joshua Patker helps his wife up and takes her face into his hands.
"You okay?"
"i- What was that?!" She says in panic
"Daddy mal is not getting up." Josie says and sets off to go to her twin brother.
Joshua stops her "don't go near him!" he scolds and Josie looks up at him confused.
Kai lies motionless on the ground, while his father drags the others out of the room. The sound of a door shutting and keys jingling is heard and then nothing else happens.
"What the?!" Damon says and hope only looks on the screen with an gaping mouth.
"They're just going to leave him laying there like that?!" she asks shocked.
