Chapter Fifteen

*Hope's POV*

I spot Jin in his pink varsity jacket.

"Jin! Jin! Jin! Kim Seokjin!" I call out to him
He turns towards me
"Hope? What's up?!" He asks
"I have an issue. Like the terrible person I am, I forgot that Hobi's birthday is on February 18th and today is the 13th." I explain
"Ohhh. Geez such a bad little sister. I bet you remember mine right?" He teases
"Sadly, I do remember yours. December 4th."
"Yes it is. Anyways, you got anything planned for Hobi's birthday?" He asks me
"Uhh not really. It will be his first birthday I won't be there for."
"Hmmm
"Oh! We should chat with the others!" He suggests
"Good idea."

After, I meet Jasmine in the cafeteria for breakfast.
"Good morning Jas!"
"Good morning!
"You sound very cheery today. What's up?" She asks
"Oh, my friends and I are planning something for my brother's birthday coming up soon so I'm excited!"
"Ahhh that's nice of you guys." She grins
"Speaking of birthdays, when is your birthday?" I ask her
"July 3rd. Yours?"
"June 23rd. We're ten days apart. That's cool."
"Yeah it is." Jasmine laughs

I ponder all day about what to do for Hoseok's birthday. Last class today was Organization Behaviour again.
Like usual, the two of us work individually.

"It's Hobi's birthday on Monday, isn't it?" A quiet and bland voice suddenly speaks

It's Taehyung.

"Yes."

That's it. No reply. That's it.

After class, I notice Jin sitting on a bench outside of the building.
"Jin? Hey, what are you doing here?" I ask
"Oh, hey Hope. I was looking for you. I chatted with the others and we have an idea!" He exclaims
"Yay! Let's go chat in the school café." I suggest
He nods and leads the way.

We are lucky, our school has a normal cafeteria but we also have a separate eating place which is the café or restaurant that is within the school campus.

We walk to a small table in the corner of the café.
"This okay?" Jin asks
"Perfect."

"Hello, welcome to our café, could I get something for you two?" A kind server asks
"One vanilla latte and a hot chocolate with milk please." Jin orders
"Right away." She smiles and walks off
Jin knows exactly what I want.
"How do you know exactly what I want? You know me too well." I chuckle
"I do." He agrees

Minutes later, our drinks come in.
"Thank you." I nod
She smiles and leaves us to our conversation.

"So what brilliant idea did you guys come up with?" I ask excitedly
"We're going to surprise visit him. We will decorate your apartment when he's at work and throw him a surprise party!" He starts

"Ooh! That's a great idea!
"But the problem is, don't we all have school on the Monday?" I ask a little bummed out

"Haha don't worry, we have it all planned out. We're gonna throw the party on Sunday. Also, we actually don't have school on Monday but we do have to return back to campus." He explains.

"Oh wow! That works out so well! I'm excited!" I exclaim

"Me too! On Saturday we can all go shopping together for the party. Namjoon and Yoongi will pick us up at the train station on Sunday. Jungkook and Jimin will join us to go shopping and we will meet them at the train station Sunday morning too."

"Oh my goodness, you guys all have it planned out so well! My brother will be so happy!"

"I know!" Jin grins proudly

I'm so happy to have them around. We all get excited on the same things and I love how extra we all can be.

A surprise party for a 26 year old? Hell ya. He will love it.
