*Taehyung's POV*
"Get up son and practice! You have school work and tutor as well as piano lessons today! Do not be lazy!" Father scolds.
"Father, please, I'm feeling very sick," I moan."Get up lazy!"
"Honey, he's having a fever right now," mother says."Fine but make sure he's up and ready for tutor," he walks out my room and slams the door.
Mother walks towards me and caress my hair.
"Have some rest right now," she says softly.
"Ma.....I'm feeling really sick," I say weakly."I know son, you're pale and you have a fever. But you will be okay," she assures.
Soon she leaves me to rest.
Tears start to roll down my face as I try and put myself to sleep.
I'm only thirteen, why? Why must I be treated this way?Suddenly, I shoot my eyes open in pain. I wake up breaking in sweat and I realize a tear threatening to roll down my face.
I take a deep breathe and relax my brain.
That was just a flashback from the last time I had a serious fever, I'm okay.
I look across and I notice Hope sleeping soundly.
I've been blurred in dizziness and sickness the past 2 days but if it weren't for Hope forcing me to rest I could've likely have fainted in my room. I just don't know how to or when to rest.
"Oh, Taehyung, you're awake?" I hear a voice shaking me out of my thinking zone.
I nod."How are you feeling?" Hope asks.
"Better."
"Good, we're landing soon," she gives me a light smile.
I want to thank her, but it feels so awkward to be nice to her.
"Uh yeah, remember to not blow our cover. We have to pretend for the next two weeks," I say coldly.
She nods and looks out the window.
Why am I like this? Why am I always so cold towards people.
I watch as she stares out the window in awe.
What's so interesting? It's just a sunset.
That's when I realize, it's her first time leaving the country and on a plane.
"Uh you're first time on a plane?" I ask.
She nods, "and first time out of the country so it's quite a trip already."
"This sunset is absolutely beautiful," she sighs.
"Yeah it's nice."
"Uh...thank you," I manage out of myself.
"Looks like someone put their ego down for a second," she chuckles.
"Alright I take it back."
"Oh and there it is," she smiles.
I crack a tiny smile.Soon, we land in China.
"Can you speak or understand Mandarin?" I ask her as we step off the plane hand in hand.
"Nope. Can you?"
"A little, I've been here enough times," I say.
Since it is getting late already, we all head to the hotel we usually stay in when we are in China.
