Chapter Thirty Four

*Hope's POV*

The ugly sound of my alarm clock warns me it's time to get to work.

Only one more week working everyday and then school starts. Once school starts again, I only have to work on the weekends. I'm fortunate to have gotten the scholarship for this semester, or else I would have to return home.

After work today I will be hanging out at the mall with Jungkook and Jimin, we want to do some back to school shopping.

I quickly get up for work.

At 3pm, my shift ends and I meet Jungkook and Jimin at the mall.

"Hey guys!" I call to them as I spot the two sitting at a nearby bench in the mall.

"Hey Hope, how are you?" Jimin asks.

"Good,
"Want to go have ramen?" I ask.

I watch Jungkook's eye shimmer at the suggestion, "Yes!"

"You know, this boy texted me at 3am and said he wanted to eat ramen last night, " I tell Jimin.

We all chuckle.

After supper, we spend two hours walking around the mall.

Suddenly, I notice a familiar girl.
The poised yet innocent presence.

"Hey Jungkook, you're in for a treat," I share a smirk with Jimin, he also saw her.
"Huh?" Jungkook looks at me in confusion.

"Hey Aejin!" I call out.
"Hope? Hey!" She walks towards us.

"I hate you," Jungkook whispers to me.

"Aejin, how are you?" I ask.

"I'm good, how about you guys?"

"We're good,
"How are you feeling? I saw the news about it, are you okay?" I ask.

"Oh yeah I'm fine. Jihyung is honestly a ignorant brat," she smiles.

"Hey Jungkook, how are you? I haven't seen you in a while," She smiles at him.
Oh this is good.

"I'm really good, thank you. Yeah it's been a few months," he says.

"Since you guys haven't seen each other in a while, you guys should go hangout together. Jimin and I will go buy some things," I wink at Jimin.

"Sure. Jungkook, want to grab a coffee or something?" Aejin offers.

Jungkook looks almost speechless.
I nudge his elbow.
"Oh yeah, sure! I'd love that," Jungkook shakes away from his shock zone.

As I watch the two walk away side by side, I snap a picture to send to the group chat.

HOPE: Look! Jungkook and Aejin!
TAE: He probably hates you right now, lol
HOPE: He'll love me after
HOBI: Like How I love u ;)
JOON: Ok this conversation changed fast
HOBI: Leave me alone! I miss my baby sister ok? Blame Tae
TAE: Ok I admit my mistake, sorry hyung :)
JIMIN: Look at him! He's not even sincere
JIN: Wait!! Why was I not invited to the mall?!
YG: Too bad for you :)

I chuckle at the conversation at hand, this shows just how chaotic our group is, but I love all of them so much. Even Taehyung.

Jimin and I find a nearby coffee shop to sit down and chat.

"What was it about Aejin that you mentioned? Did something happen to her?" Jimin asks.

"Oh, you know Jihyung?"

"Jihyung? Yeah the arrogant guy in my year? I hate him so much, thank god im not in his major at least. What about him?" He cringes at the thought of him.
