The sound of whimpering and frantic cries caught my attention as I lie on a hard uncomfortable surface.

"Emily" their hand shook me urgently.

"Please wake up"

I pried my fragile eyes open and gazed up at a sobbing Olivia.

"Hey... It's okay" I cringed, sitting up and holding my head.

"You okay?" She took a hold of my hand and stroked it.

"Yeah... Just peachy." A hoarse Cough exploded from my mouth.

"Come on... Gotta get out of her" I mouth, getting up and opening the door.

"They didn't lock it" she gasped. I grinned and grabbed her hand.

"Okay on three, let's jump"

Olivia backed away immediately.

"Olli! We have to... Just think of what they'll do to us if we don't"

She sobered up and nodded, standing next to me.

"One"

"Two" I nod

"Three!" We both fly out of the blue rusty van and land on the floor in a heap.

"You alright" I pant, standing up and helping her

."yeah im good" her hand soothed the grazes on her arms from the fall. blood seeped from them.

"Yeah... Let's go" she grabbed a hold of my hand and we set off in to the woods, weaving through the trees.

5 minutes later

"Emily! Look out!"

I turned my head slightly, seeing three or more wolves hurdling towards us. Olivia screamed out and tugged my arm as we ran faster. My dress had ridden up, so my underwear was on show. To be honest, that's the last thing on my mind since the chance of staying alive was coming slightly slim.

"Olivia, we won't make it! They're too close...we're gonna have to shift!" I cry.

"No! I can't Emily... It's too much!" Her strangled cry thumped me in the stomach with worry.

"Keep running Em and remember...I love you my fake sister." I smiled lightly, merging with panic. I squeezed her hand and pulled her away from an oncoming tree. A loud thump smashed against my back and Olivia screamed murderously, letting go of my hand and reluctantly running off.

The creature on my back shifted back to human form, letting their weight lighten. I cried softly and pressed my head into the floor, hoping it would swallow me whole.

"It's alright, you're safe. Mate." their voice softened, running a hand down my shoulder lightly. I uncontrollably let out a sob and closed my eyes.

"It's alright shhh" they collected my weak body from the woodland and carried me away bridle style. The only thing I acknowledged was the fact this is the end and ill never see scott or Olivia again. The fact my mate was carrying me away, didn't seam to effect me like it should've. A thin piece of material laid over my body and a hand stroked the side of my face comfortingly.

My wolf wasn't responding.... Why isn't she responding? I close my eyes, letting every ounce of energy disappear, hoping that I'll wake up at home with Scott screaming the house down, because he's freaking out about the crackle of rice chrispies or the weird shape of someone's wig on the television.

"This is just a nightmare." I repeat in my head

"jus' a nightmare"
