(So like Kokichi and Kiibo are children for the most part)
Kiibo stared, amazed at the butterfly perched on his finger. The small robot had only been around for about five years, and since his brain matured like a human being, he could easily pass as such. That is, if he applied heavy makeup, which he did not have the time and money to do.
Suddenly, a loud thump was heard, followed by the simultaneous sound of leaves crunching and laughter shortly afterwards. Startled, the butterfly flapped its wings and flew off. Clearly upset, Kiibo turned around to see what had disturbed him. In a large pile of leaves lay a short giggling boy with elegant purple hair.
"Excuse me!" the white-haired robot called. "You interrupted my bonding with the creatures here!"
"Nishishishi~! Whoops, sorry!" the other boy giggled, placing a hand over his mouth. He waved his arms and legs as if making a snow angel in the leaves.
"How could anybody be so careless?" Kiibo murmured to himself. "The least you can do is apologize!"
"Dawwww, I suppose you're right," the purple-haired boy pouted, standing up and brushing the leaves off of his black and white checkered sweater. He glanced at Kiibo for a few seconds before doing something unexpected.
"Nishishishi~! That was a lie! I'm not gonna apologize to you," proclaimed the shorter of the two. Kiibo sighed, his hands on his hips.
"Heyyyy...you look kind of weird," the purple-haired one noted. Without saying anything else, he kept forwards and placed a hand on Kiibo's cheek.
"Woaaahhhh...are you made of metal or something?" He said in awe as he began to feel different parts of Kiibo's face. Said robot immediately slapped the other boy's hand away.
"Just because I am a robot does not give you permission to touch me however you please!" Kiibo exclaimed. The purple-haired gremlin pouted again.
"You wouldn't care, right? Cause robots can't feel." Before Kiibo could tell him how robophobic that was, the shorter boy interrupted him. "Anyways, I'm Kokichi Ouma," he said, offering his hand. Kiibo eyed it warily before shaking it half-heartedly.
"My name is K1-B0...but I suppose you could just call me Kiibo."
"Nishishishi~! Is Kii-boy my friend? Have I made a new friend? Have I finally done it?!" Kokichi suddenly exclaimed, bouncing up and down. Kiibo stared at him for a few seconds before smiling.
"I believe you have."
But that was the past. Kiibo had moved away from that place a few weeks after he met Kokichi, and he regretted it.
Now, Kiibo was sitting at a small desk, alone, waiting for his first class on his first day of high school to begin. He had arrived quite early. He was aimlessly tapping a pencil against the wooden surface when the door suddenly slammed open, making him jump in shock.
"See? I told you we were early, Amami-chan!" a voice proclaimed, followed by a small chuckle from another voice.
"I suppose you are always right," a smooth voice responded. Kiibo looked up, examining the two people that had entered the classroom. One had light green hair and a deep blue striped shirt, while the other had purple hair and purple eyes...and a white checkered scarf, along with a completely...white...outift...
There was something about that boy. Something...different. Kiibo just couldn't place his finger on it.
"Hey, Ouma, how about you go introduce yourself to him? He looks kind of lonely," the green-haired boy who Kiibo assumed to be Amami said.
