We were on our vacation for a week. And it was perfect. When we got back to Toronto Gabe left me at my house and went home. I entered the house and saw my mom standing in the living room with an envelope.
I hugged her and gave her a kiss on a cheek.
"What do you have there?" I asked her.
"You got accepted in the law college in London" she said
I started screaming and jumping around the whole house. I called Gabe to tell him the news. I am leaving for London in a week.
Tommorw is my flight to London so i am currently calling my dad to ask him who is picking me up.
„Hey Loren!" Said my dad as I called him on video chat. Tom was sitting in his lap and waving at me.
„Hi sis!" he yelled
„Hi Tom, how are you?" I asked him with a smile on my face.
„I'm good. I am going to play with that truck you bought me" he said and left the room.
„Let me hear you baby. What did you call about." said my dad
„Just called to ask if I need to take an uber tommorow or will you pick me up?"
„What time are you landing?"
„ 2 pm"
„I can't come because George and Martha are coming to dinner with Hero, But Carol will be there to pick you up." He said. George is dad's coworker and a neighbour. I met George and Martha but I didn't meet Hero. I only know he is the same age as I am.
„Ok, see you tommorow, love you" I said.
„Love you too, safe flight and see you" said dad and ended the call.
I packed my things and hang out with my mom the whole evening.
