CHAPTER EIGHT

When we got home, Tom fell asleep the second his head hit the pillow. I left him in his room and went on the swing in the back yard, reading a book.

Half through reading my book, I saw Hero standing on his balcony, waving at me.

He took a marker and a paper and wrote "Can I come over?" I nodded and he went back in. Seconds later he jumped the fence between our back yard's and sat next to me.

"So I wanted to ask my new awesome best friend to go to the party with me this Saturday?" He asked, smirking.

"Well I am sure my dad would let me go with you, so why not" I said.

After my dad and Carol got home, Hero asked very nicely if I can go with him to the party in two days. And my dad agreed.

I am currently getting ready for the party. I choose my favorite black skirt and my long sleeved black shirt with knee high boots. In the color black. You guessed it.

For my makeup I did a black wing with nude lips. At 8 on there was a bell at the door. It was Hero. I took my purse that had my phone, money and I.D. and went downstairs.

Downstairs Carol was at the door with Tom in her hands.

Hero wore his black shoes, black ripped jeans, black T-shirt and black leather jacket. Black is a popular color it seems.

"Wow Tom, look how pretty Loren is" said Carol as Tom smiled sleepy.

"You can be lucky Gabe isn't here. That cute you wouldn't be going out" she said as we all laughed.

"What's the curfew?" Asked Hero.

"The door is locking at midnight. That's what Tony said. If you are responsible enough find a way or a place where will you be." She said sighing.

"No problem, if we are late, she can sleep in the guest room, my parents are out for the weekend." Hero said.

"Thank you so much Hero. Tbh I don't know how am I living with Tony when he is stubborn like this." She said and we all laughed. We went to Hero's car.
