While in a mental institution there are things you begin to learn. Things you find out. Things you realize.

I sat on my bed scribbling down rules on a piece of paper. I had no idea how long I'd be here, so I had to make sure the Frankie walking into here was the same Feankie leaving.

1. Keep the sarcasm.

2. Remember not everyone understands.

3. Being confused is okay.

4. Remember how things were on the outside.

"Whatchya writing?" Chelsea asked much more perkier due to the proper sleep she was getting.

"Nothing." I mumbled not giving her my attenion.

5. YOU'RE LESBIAN DONT LET THESE BOYS CHANGE THAT. THEY'RE NASTY. (All of them).

She grabbed the paper reading over it. "What the hell is this? Do you think when you leave you'll be actually crazy."

"Just making sure." I said trying to grab it back.

"This is bullshit. Face it Frankie it's been passed three days you've been settled in. Everything you do now decides on how long you stay. This.." She sais holding up the paper. "won't help."

"How do I get out."

"Die or get better." She said bluntly sitting down.

"How do I get better?" I asked sitting up.

"Stop stressing over it." She said pressing the nurse botton to leave.

"Where you off to?" I asked.

"Pizza Friday." She said holding onto the bars to the door.

"I heard visitor sunday is happening."

"Visitors?!" My mind going straight to my father.

"Yeah, which means fast food, fancy gadgets from parents, and if we're lucky the state check will come in."

"I like checks." I said with a smile.

Nurse Cas came her keys hung around her neck. She put the in opening the door for us.

"How's it going girls?" She asked nicely.

"It's pizza Friday!" Chelsea smiled.

"Yes it is, have fun. Contact a nurse if you need anything. Remember you can't get on the elevators without telling a nurse anymore." Nurse Cas said as we walked off.

"What?" Chelsea said turning around to face her.

"Manners?" Cas said.

"What the hell?" I asked.

"You heard me. No..."

"That's bullshit." I said interrupting her.

"Frankie, rude remarks like that can get you a day of punishment."

"What?" I said.

"Yes Ma'am." Chelsea said pulling me away. "Day of punishment sucks ass. It's a day of just cleaning. Like they have you clean the kitchen and dinning hall." She said pulling me towards the elevators.

I pushed the top botton leaning against the wall. "They can do that?"

"They can do worse."

"Worse what?" Tori asked joining us.

"Nothings worser than you."

"Worser isn't a word you illiterate bitch." She spat pressing the down botton.
