I sat stirring my tea. It was tasteless, but my tongue simply couldn't take the sugary orange juice so early.

I sat not yet showered eating most likely microwaved pancakes with Derek, Ian, and Callie.

"How's the plan going Ian." Callie asked sarcastically.

"I need to get the time measurements exact. We need at least a thirty minutes downstairs and I have no idea what goes on at night."

"Ask Tori? She is always out looking for male attention at nights." Chelsea said joining us.

"Not this early." I moaned in no mood to think about Tori in fishnets looking for male attention.

"We need someone she doesn't utterly hate." Ian asked.

"I'm out." Chelsea mumbled.

"She'll probably try to rape Derek and Naomi doesn't do well with prying information and last year I punched her in the nose." Callie stated.

"I already knew it; I'd be bait." I muttered

"Okay, while Frankie gets info from Chelsea who will grab the keys from the janitors closet."

"Easy." Naomi said joining us with a devious smile.

"I'm going to shower." I moaned in no mood to hold a conversation with Tori. I walked out of the dinning room only taking my tea. I stepped into the elevator to see Tori and some other girl who stepped out.

"Going down?" I asked pleasantly.

"Up." Tori said coldly.

I nodded pressing the button for the sixth floor. "How's your day been Tori?"

"Woke up a little less shitty."

I forced a laugh nodding. She only rolled her eyes ignoring me. "I- did- uh what's it like?"

"What?" She asked. I would have asked myself the same question. I thought quickly saying the first thing to pop in my mind.

"Sex." I said my cheeks immediately turning red.

"What kind?"

"You know what sorry I asked." I said softly.

"No, I'm always willing to give to the virgins of the world."

"I'm fine seriously."

"So tell me your most sexual experience."

My stomach was tied in knots only ever kissing a boy named Tommy who was in my third grade class.

"Nothing."

"Poor thing." She said circling around me like a shark. A smirk was glued to her face. She pressed the stop button stopping the elevator.

"What do you want?" She asked. "There must be a reason. You're talking to me. Maybe that's why you helped me out. You wanted a favor."

"Uh, yeah." I said uneasily.

"I've never been with a girl." She said into my ear sending disturbing shivers down my spine.

"Neither have I." I said in my manish unattractive frightened voice.

She pushed me so my back hit the wall not harshly though almost in a sexual manner. "Dumb fuck." She spat. "I'm no idiot. Now, what the hell do you want?!" She asked no longer in her seductive cat like tone.

"Some, advice." I said slowly.

"Girl on girl doesn't require any preparations." She said making the elevator go again turning her back to me.

"Not that. What happens at night?" I asked.

"The moon rises; the sun falls." She said walking out. I followed down the hall towards the bathrooms.

"No like do the nurses patrol around or."

"At 12. One nurse per hall. Usually an old women or man. Can pass right under their nose if you're smart enough. What, got a date?" She asked. "I thought Chelsea and you were roomates."

"No, not a date, better."

"Ooh, wear a condom." She said holding onto the boy's bathroom door.

"No thanks but enjoy whatever your about to do in there."

"Thanks I'll use that condom for you." She said with a crooked smile disappearing into the bathroom.

All my hatred for Tori went away sure she was quite the character, but you can't exactly help what you are. And if there is one thing to be proud of it is keeping it real. And Tori isn't one to deny who she is.

"Did you talk to her?" Chelsea asked once I got back to the room from my shower.

I shrugged bluntly searching for a brush. "It was okay." I said not going to admit I learned to like her.

"What'd you learn?"

"That plan basement is a go." I said plopping down onto the bed.

"Seriously?!" She asked happily.

"Yeah, isn't our-" my conversation was cut short when , Nurse Cas's voice abruptly spoke up.  She opened the barred door asking for me.

"Hm?" I said not listening.

"You have a visitor. Lucky duck." She said with a cheesy smile.

My lips immediately opened pulling into a upward motion. I opened the second door following her to the elevators.

"Who is it?" I asked knowing the answer.

"Only your father." I almost shed a tear at her words.

Once we finally got to the visiting area. (A room on the first floor.) I found my dad sitting alone.

"Dad." I called out running to sit across from him.

There were many other surrounding us, but it felt like he and I were the only ones in the room.

"Frankie." He said in his husky always tired voice. "How have you been?"

"Learning things." I said truthfully. "This place is a lot different than I imagined."

"What, there's no gray skies hovering above."

I shrugged laughing a bit. "No, it's just. I expected to be a little less okay with everything."

"So I shouldn't regret agreeing with your mother."

"Don't mention her." I said in a low tone.

"Frank, she is your mother." He said being the only one to call me Frank and me enjoying it.

"I know, it's just I hate how she controls everything. Before the accident-"

"The accident didn't change anything."

"You're in a wheelchair dad. A lot changed."

"I'm still your father."

"Who's got that bitch shoving shit down your throat. She didn't send me here to get better. Cause I've been better."

"By who's standards."

"Mine!" I spat. "The only one who's matter. The only one who actually knows what goes through my mind."

"If we think you're a danger to yourself we can't bring you back home." He said sternly.

"Then I don't wanna go back." I said getting up. "If you don't realize how mom messed up everything then don't come back for me." I said walking out of the room as Nurse Cas followed.

"Frankie!" She yelled. "Frankie you can't leave without telling me."

"I'm done listening to everyone's bullshit." I yelled.  "I hate her." I screamed.

Frankie Nurse Cas said trying to grab me from behind.  "Let go!" I screamed. "I hate her!"

I sounded just as crazy Luke did in that elevator, but I didn't care. I hated my mother.

With a burning passion.
