Part Fourteen

The Next Day at A’s Hideout

            When Toby awoke, he’d almost forgotten he’d been kidnapped. He sat up and ran his fingers through his hair right as Cece came down stairs. “Morning.”, she said, holding the handcuff keys and the gag. “Morning.”, he replied as she knelt down to unlock his cuff. He then walked over to the pipe and let her hand cuff him back to the pipe and place the gag back in his mouth. “Just so you know, Alison will be coming down in a minute. So be prepared for some of those questions I mentioned.”, she told him.

            He nodded in response as she began to walk back upstairs. But, Alison was already standing at the door as Cece opened it. “You ready Cece?”, she asked as she walked down the steps. “Um, yeah.”, Cece replied. Alison took long strides towards Toby, who backed away as far as he could. She soon took his gag right back out of his mouth and threw it on the floor. “Now, what did you find at the police station?”, she asked, a look of anger in her eyes.

            “Nothing. I found nothing.”, Toby answered, the same look of anger in his eyes. “Hm. I found that hard to believe.”, Alison continued. “Interesting choice of words for a girl who lies for a living.”, Toby replied with a cocky half smile. Alison simply glared at him, then slapped him straight through the face. “ALI!”, Cece yelled. “What, it’s not like you care. And just you wait till we take care of Spencer and the others.”, Alison taunted.

             Toby’s blood began to boil with anger as he tried to break away and kill Alison. “IF YOU TOUCH SPENCER, ALISON, I WILL KILL YOU!”, he shouted as he pulled on the cuffs harder and harder. “Cece, gag him.”, Alison said as she walked back towards the door. “N-no.”, Cece stuttered. Alison stopped dead in her tracks at the word. “What did you just say?”, she asked, like she didn’t hear her. “I said, no Alison. I-I’m not helping you anymore.”, Cece continued. Alison stormed over to Cece and quickly punched her in the face. Cece fell to the floor, unconscious. “CECE!”, Toby shouted. Ali then walked back to Toby and gagged him herself. “MMMPH!”, he shouted as he shoved it in his mouth and strapped it to his head. “One way or another, I’m going to win this game.”, she said before she walked off and slammed the door shut behind her.
