Pretty Little Liars: Where's Toby?

Part Twenty-Four

Toby’s Apartment

            Once they finally left the hospital, Spencer took Toby back to his apartment first thing. The walked in and Toby seemed to relax a lot more. “You know, I wasn’t gone for long, but it feels like forever since I’ve been here.”, he laughed as Spencer closed the door behind her. “Well, I’m glad you’re home.”, Spencer said, wrapping her arms around his waist. “Me too.”, he replied, leaning down to kiss her.

            When they pulled away, they simply stared at each other. Just loving the way the other looked. “Spence?”, Toby asked. “Yeah?”, Spencer replied. “W-will you stay with me tonight?”, he asked, a nervous tone in his voice. Spencer could tell he was still a little shaken by everything. “Of course.”, Spencer replied in a soft voice. He smiled at her and said, “I’m gonna get ready for bed.” “Okay.”, Spencer replied, giving him a quick peck on his lips before he walked off.

            He soon came back in a black t-shirt and pajama pants. Spencer didn’t bother bringing any pajamas though. “You’re not gonna change?”, Toby asked, a laugh in his tone. “I figured I’d help you go to sleep before I did.”, Spencer answered with a smile. “Thanks Spence.”, Toby replied, walking on into his bedroom with Spencer right behind him. He then climbed on into his bed as Spencer took a seat in his recliner.

             “You know you don’t have to do this Spencer.”, Toby said, all seriousness in his voice. “I know. But I’d just feel better knowing that you’re okay.”, Spencer replied, bringing her legs up into the chair with her. “Thanks Spencer. Again.”, Toby continued, folding his arms behind  his head. “And, just so you can get sleep, can you call Emily if you started getting tired?”, he asked. “Yeah. If I have to.”, Spencer answered. “Okay. Goodnight Spence.”, he said, laying down and pulling the blanket up around his neck. “Goodnight Toby.”, Spencer said reaching over and turning off the lamp next to her.
