Part Twenty-Seven

Nine Months Later at Toby’s Apartment

            After several nightmares and flashbacks, Toby was finally back to normal. He was able to get back to work and help out the girls whenever he could. Right know, he was even working on a blueprint to renovate Aria’s garage for her and her family. A moment later, Toby heard a knock on the door. “Who is it?”, he asked, walking over to answer it.

            “It’s me.”, Spencer said on the other side. “Hey.”, Toby said, leaning down to kiss her. “Hey. How’s it going with Aria’s blueprints?’, she asked as Toby shut the door. “They are coming along great.”, he said with a smile. Just then, Toby’s phone rang. “Just a sec Spence.”, he said, running and grabbing the phone off his desk.

            “Hello? Yes this is him.”, Toby said, a little confused. Spencer then watched as Toby’s eyes grew wide in shocked. “Um…okay. I’ll be over in a minute. Thank you.”, he finished, hanging up the phone and standing in silence. “Toby? Who was that?”, Spencer asked. “It was the hospital. They found Alison.”, he said. “That’s good. But why did the hospital call you?”, she asked. “Because…Alison is pregnant. And it’s with my baby.”, Toby answered, a look of fear and concern on his face.

        Spencer then had the exact same look on her face. “What? How?”, she asked. “I don’t know. Spencer, how long ago was I kidnapped?”, he asked. Spencer thought for a moment, then said, “Nine months ago.” Toby then sat down and placed his face in his hands. “They said she didn’t want the baby and they ran a test and said I’m the father.”, Toby said, tears falling down his face. “So what are you going to do?”, Spencer asked. “I’m going to the hospital to decide what I’m going to do.”, he replied, standing up and grabbing his keys. “I’m coming with you.”, Spencer said, grabbing her stuff and running out the door behind him.
