Pretty Little Liars: Where's Toby?

Part Twenty-Three

The Hospital

            Spencer watched from outside as they preformed the tests on Toby, scanning him and taking blood samples. Of course Toby wasn’t all that crazy about it. He didn’t like all these doctors looking at his naked body, but it was a good thing to find out now then later on in his life it he contracted anything. He laid there on the table as tense as ever as they continued their tests.

            About an hour later, Toby was cleared to leave until the tests came back. He walked  over to Spencer after putting his jeans back on. “So…can we get me some new clothes now?”, he laughed. “I figured you’d say that. So I told Emily to run back to your apartment and get some for you.”, Spencer replied. “Oh, which reminds me. Here is your shoe back.”, she continued, getting them both to smile. “To bad the other ones back in that basement with my shirt.”, Toby laughed.

            Spencer’s eyes suddenly grew wide as she pulled out her phone. “Hanna? Um…can you go back up to that house. We forgot about Shana in the basement. Oh, and get Toby’s stuff too. Thanks.”, she said, hanging up. “You locked Shana in the basement?”, Toby asked, raising an eyebrow. “Long story.”, Spencer replied. They stood in silence for a moment before Spencer broke the silence. “Well, I’m gonna go check on Mona.”, she said, beginning to leave.

            “Spencer wait.”, Toby said, grabbing her arm. “What?”, she asked. He then grabbed her head and kissed her, more passionate than ever. “What was that for?”, Spencer asked, a large smile on her face. “For not giving up on me. And for being the only person I will ever love.”, Toby replied with an even larger smile on his face. They then leaned in and continued to kiss till Emily knocked on the open door with Toby’s clothes.

            “Sorry to interrupt.”, Emily laughed as they pulled away from each other. “You weren’t.”, Spencer laughed. Emily then walked straight over to Toby and gave him a hug, mindful of his bruises and rope marks. “I missed you so much Toby.”, she said as she held onto him. “I missed you to Em.”, Toby replied with smile.  “Oh, here’s your clothes.”, she laughed, handing him her old swim team bag.

        “Thanks Em.”, he said, taking the bag out of her hand and giving her a kiss on the cheek, making her blush. Suddenly, the doctor came back in with a clipboard. “Well Toby, we got you’re results back early.”, he said as Toby pulled a shirt over his head. “And?”, he asked, grabbing Spencer and Emily’s hands. “And you did not contract anything from Miss. Dilaurentis. You are perfectly safe.”, he answered with a smile. The weight was lifted off their shoulders and they could finally relax for the time being.
