Part Sixteen

Ali’s Car

            Ali had been driving for almost two hours by now. And the whole way, Toby was struggling to get out of his hogtie in the backseat. “You can stop struggling Toby. You’re not breaking that hogtie.”, Alison said as she began to turn off onto a dirt road. But luckily, Alison wasn’t the best knot tier. That would have been Cece. So, Toby made it seem like he was struggling, when he’d really been able to get loose for the past hour. He’s just waiting for the moment to strike.

            About twenty minutes later, Alison pulled into a field next to a large barn. Once she was parked, Ali got out of the car and went over to get Toby out. Now was his chance. Right when Ali opened the door, Toby broke his bonds and leaped at Alison. She put up a fight, but soon Toby had her pinned. “Oh you always were a trickster Toby.”, she laughed. “Alison. I’m leaving. I’m going to walk away and you are not going to follow me. You’re staying right here.”, Toby said, standing up and beginning to walk away.

            “Okay. But can I use this?”, she asked, getting him to turn around. There, in her hands, Alison was holding a handgun and was aiming directly at Toby. “You’re not leaving Toby. You’re staying here till I get what I want.”, she continued. “And what exactly to you want?”, Toby asked, no emotion in his response. “I want them to suffer.”, Alison answered. “Them who?”, Toby continued. “Spencer. Aria. Emily. Mona. Hanna. Caleb. Paige. You. EVERYONE!”, she answered. “Why? What did WE do that was so terrible? You’re the one who manipulated all of us for your own needs.”, he countered.

              “I don’t know what you mean.”, Alison lied. “Cut the crap Ali! You tormented me when I was in prison, you blackmailed Paige and several other people, you picked on Mona, you messed with Emily’s feelings. YOU did everything! WE did nothing. All we did was let you get away with it!”, Toby shouted. “I don’t want to hear anymore. If one more word comes from your lips, I pull this trigger and you’re dead.”, she responded. So, the only thing Toby could do, was lift his hands above his head and began to walk towards the barn with the gun pointed at the back of his head.
